Something that isn't Eco friendly... Why do the envirosnobs have to try to be such downers for a great day as this? Between them and the stupid hipsters I'll run out of beers that I like. That said... I'll probably have a couple of Yards from my Beers of the Revolution sampler... And then a Rolling Rock or 5

Opeth1429: Schneiderweisse and Franziskaner (sp?).

Naming beers is like naming indie rock bands. First one to name a beer that someone else has heard of loses.

hefeweizens ftw

tfresh: A nice micro brewed German Pils or Flander's red...

OH wait... you can't find one! everyone is brewing overhopped IPAs. They don't appreciate nor can correctly balance malt wiith noble hops as god intended it!!!

Stop the overhopping!!! No one wants 120 IBUs... beer shouldn't be an endurance exercise to see who can enjoy the bitterest PoS out there.

Also this.

My son-in-law reviews beers and has a blog, so we always have a fridge full of exotic beers. Although he rarely lets me try them!

He did let me try a Rogue Double Dead Guy Ale the other day. Good stuff! Maybe I can talk him out of one of those. Otherwise, I'll have a Shiner Bock or a Leinenkugal Summer Shandy.

/In case you are interested in reading his reviews: Sud Savant

Trying a Shiner Ruby Red today with the taste of ruby red grapefruit and ginger. Not really "international" unless Texas DOES finally secede over the weekend. Pretty tasty though.

Read an article in the New Yorker couple of years ago about microbreweries and they interviewed a "Brewmeister" in Germany who said to tell the readers that Budweiser is really a very good beer.
I'm developing a taste for Murphys Stout although dark beer has never been a favorite. It's particularly creamy and smooth.

/not a beer snob
//actually likes Miller High Life..no, really, I do!
I feel so ashamed

Off to Bevmo and Whole Foods to see if I can find them somewhere.
