With the things he's been pulling lately, he must have some some serious dirt on Roger Ailes or Murdoch to keep himself from getting tossed.

Aside from that, come out of that closet, Shep. Cooper did it. You can do it too. You'll feel better, and, in the long run, you might just bring a whiff of tolerance to your pernicious and dishonest network.

Ailes has his bombproof and bulletproof office, so he might be safe.

Whoa...someone actually told the truth on Faux News??

Can't have that. This man must be fired immediately.

Yeah, I'm not sure what the hell has gotten into Shep either, but good for him.

Yes, I think he's seriously gay, nttawwt, and may be waiting to sue the living fark out of Fox if they ever fire him.

He's more likely to get a curb job than a blo....ck party for that.

Shepherd Smith is kept there so they can say "See, we got someone who'll criticize the Republican Party every now and then!"

The fact he stays there really nullifies any respect I might have for him.

Am I the only one who thinks Chick Fil-A isn't even that good?

/good on Shep though.

LOL!

Shep's an alright guy.

Shepard Smith has always seemed to me to be a guy who really wants to be a journalist in the true sense. He apparently sides with the right more than the left, which is why he's at Fox, but he does seem to have a conscience and a certain amount of common sense. He has had his moments where he can't in good conscience shovel some of the sh*t that Fox wants him to shovel, and he goes off on his own track. It makes me wonder how good he would be if he could get a job at an honest-to-God truly objective news network. (Yes, I know, there is no such thing, but I can hope, can't I?)

Shepard Smith, the gayest man on FOX. I like some of his work, but over all he helps lend credibility to a contemptable batch of criminals, so the hell with him. Shephard, you are a tool of the assh*t contingent. Quit and get a real job.

Shep has always seemed to me to be a guy who just wants to tell the actual news in his own entertaining way. He might bat right and throw left, or the other way around, but he's alright.

I believe the real underlying controversy is the use of the misplaced apostrophe in the headline.

It's why I find his lines at commercial time funny. At least once during the Fox Report, he'll say something like 'all this and more from the journalists at Fox News'. He puts a slight emphasis on 'journalists' and I think it's to tease the network

Am I the only one sick of this Chik-A-Fil shiat? I get it. The owner doesn't approve of teh ghey. Fine, I won't eat there. Fark 'em. That being said, I'm also sick of hearing about it and seeing a damned fast food chain become a focal point on the issue.

No, but there are networks and other mediums (which is to say, almost all of them) that aren't eight-cylinder propaganda. I'd rather take the risk of seeing some ideological bias slip by BBC or my print AP feed than tune into to what I already know is built from the ground up to support a political party.

That's why FOX is evil. No one claims that other media is without occasional bias. Just that it's not systemic, deliberate, brazen and shameless.

National intolerance day would be accurate. If you have an opinion that is contrary to the agenda of the LGBT movement, you experience their intolerance first hand. Back to re-education camp for you, citizen.

It's about picking a fight with someone you think you can handle. Rahm Emmanuel can go out there and say he's not going to approve some permit for Chick-Fil-A in Chicago and then hold a press conference where he lectures that the restaurant doesn't conform to "Chicago values," but let's see him try the same stunt with the Catholic Church. He hasn't got the balls to pick that fight. Let's see kiss-ins on the steps of Baptist churches on Sunday, where actual "faithful" get the protest instead of workers and customers of a chicken shack who haven't done anything to deserve the hassle.

I have you marked as a conservative ______. Weird. I've been noticing a lot of people who I marked as conservative ______s for something they said at some point or another but then later they started saying non-insane stuff. Maybe I just catch a lot of people when they're trolling or being sarcastic? It's getting hard to separate sarcasm from lunacy.

/I also have a much lower threshold for stupidity nowadays.

CFA will undoubtedly make millions off their bigotry.

Great publicity stunt.

I support marriage equality and I am not gay... so it's certainly possible Shep Smith is also not gay. Being tolerant of other people doesn't make you one of them. I admire any effort to provide a moderate voice on FN.

I'm sure white supremacists felt the same way when the civil rights movement gained momentum.

I've always liked Shep. I just wish that he worked for a real news outlet like PBS or NPR.

/for-profit news sucks balls

Shep hasn't been fired because GOP elites are pivoting the party away from gay-bashing, which is no longer electorally helpful. This transition started several years ago.

If Smith had called for carried interest to be taxed as ordinary income, he'd be kicked to the blow curb.

More like he knows all the dirt on everyone there, and probably secretly slept with a few personalities, so they wont dare piss him off.

I don't understand how Americans can be so ignorant and savage?
Under institutional hate and discrimination seems to be the way you people want to live.
It's as if you people are meandering Neanderthals with very little cognitive functions about anything or anybody that does not affect you.

I watch Shep's show.

Only program on Fox News that I do watch.

Wish I could get some of the weed he smokes.

Stupid: A damned sandwich restaurant adopting its own little state religion.
Extra bonus stupid upgrade: Thinking this is worth boycotting and there's nothing more important to do, maybe.
KFC Double-down level stupid: Thinking the boycott is going to be so effective that it necessitates an organized day of support. For a fast food restaurant.
Only in America level stupid: The media is still talking about this over a week after the bullshiat started. Like, the national media, not the random local affiliates this merits.

//For the record, the people that blew up the cute one-off Oreo advertisement into a controversy need to re-evaluate their lives as well.
