I'm sure this is bad news for Obama.

The market is just anticipating Romney's first jobs report, obviously.

That, and enthusiastic about his economic plan.

The number was above expectations, so of course the folks on Wall Street are like a flock of sheep in heat.

It was great flipping between fox news and CNN this morning when the report came out (MSNBC had Olympics). Took fox news almost a half hour to get to it. And even when they did they wouldn't mention how many jobs created, just that the unemployment rate went up. It was classic butt hurt and spin at its best. My favorite part was that the report hit at the end of fox and friends and instead of breaking the news they continued with their white trash tea party concert series. It was awesome.

You know why stocks soar when employment goes up? Because it means there are more employees for companies to lay off in order to make their stock prices go up.

But Fox News said this was terrible. Doesn't Wall Street consult them?!?

stability in markets is overrated. You make big bucks with volatility, because even when things are going down, your stand to make money on the right bets.

The era of investment was over quite a while ago. Speculation and playing the volatility game is in.

And lots of people actually think they stand to do well by throwing the SS into this mess. Suckers are born every minute.

Swoop1809: I am happy to say I am part of this jobs report, starting my new job at the end of July

Hear hear! My team just hired 3 more people this last week with another 3 to hire in the next month, and another 50 to 75 by year end.

Thank you President Obama for making this happen!

If you favor private enterprise, and are excited about smaller government; Obama's your only choice in Nov.

I can't tell if that last line is a dig at Obama or not.

So long Fartbama. In the past, no president has been re-elected when the unemployment figures are over 8%. Actually the U6 is over 16%.
