I'd trade these pills for the botox if it worked, at least then people could look at me and see something is wrong.

Do you really believe plants should have rights or are you a conservative plant sent to make people second guess their decision to slice that onion up into a million pieces?

plants have feelings, hopes and dreams. They just aren't able to communicate them. Killing a plant is no better than killing any other living being.

In fact, killing a plant is worse. They are innocent and without them, we'd not be able to live. No more "food" for humans, no more "weed" to get high, and definitely no vegetable based clothing/fiber options.

Maybe they were just happier not having wrinkles. I'd be.

There could be something to this, though I'm not too hot on the idea of getting my face paralyzed. I spent *years* of my childhood practicing until I could reliably raise one eyebrow, damn it.

Nevertheless, a couple of data points:

* I've had chronic, treatment-resistant depression since I was a teenager. I've tried the forcing-myself-to-smile thing, and it really does seem to have a mild positive effect on my mood. I'm just usually too depressed to remember to do it.

* Even after an hour of therapeutic massage that includes my head and face, I can usually still feel the tension in my facial muscles. I know the bullfrog trick, and all the pressure points, and a massage therapist taught me a technique to make my jaw muscles let go (though it hurts like hell and rarely lasts more than a few minutes), but some days, nothing[1] will relax my forehead -- not massage, not relaxation exercises, not heat or cold or aromatherapy or anything else. It's not uncommon for me to fall asleep frowning and wake up the same way. It's remarkably difficult to chill out when you can't stop frowning.

Botox is pretty cheap these days. Maybe I should try it. Considering the permafrown, it seems unlikely it could make me look any worse.

[1] Smoking pot will relax my face and everything else, plus relieve my fibromyalgia pain, stop me from talking about myself compulsively, and make me hungry enough to actually cook myself a decent meal instead of procrastinating until it's too late to do more than toss an egg and some frozen vegetables into a bowl of ramen, but I quit because I can't bring myself to pay twice as much for the cheap brown Mexican shiat they sell here as I did for Humboldt's finest when I lived on the west coast that would be illegal, and I would never do anything illegal.
