The cool thing about Dead pool is that he could have a 5 min on screen rant about how bad the character was handled in the previous movie and it would be totaly in character.

You're forgetting that the shiat-breathing assholes over at Fox have control over the Deadpool character as far as movie rights go, so no such thing will happen until marvel buys all its properties back. So...never.

I don't really care for Deadpool but I like Posehn. May have to pick it up.

And it's a sad state of affairs when Patton Oswalt's ideas are being turned down by DC.

The other thing, though, is that comics are not really that expensive to produce and their names would guarantee distribution. These guys should just write their own stuff and publish it themselves.

Any Deadpool movie better had break the cinematic fourth wall Warner Bros. style. And I'm not talking Ferris directly addressing the audience, I mean falling off the edge of the running film and climbing up the sprocket holes into a later scene kind of stuff.

No, it's not a reboot. At least, not of the history of Marvel. It's a re-set of their titles, all of them, basically, but it's not a reboot of the universe in any way.

The big changes are that the X-Men and Avengers will basically be working together instead of being what's always been like two separate universes. There will be an Uncanny Avengers book, which is a team half made up of X-Men (Wolvie, Rogue and Havok that we know of) and half of Avengers (Cap, Thor and Scarlet Witch).

Mostly it's an excuse to issue a bunch of new issue #1s, but nobody is getting One More Day'd in this.

Oh, and there's going to be a new X-Men book written by Bendis that's about the original five X-men yanked from the past into present day and finding it to be just as horrifying as "Days of Future Past". That means Jean Grey will be alive again, but this will be a Jean before the Phoenix ever happened. Also a Cyclops before he became a total dickwad.
