Last fall, city workers killed a "rather large" rat in budget chief Mike Del Grande's office.

It was later proved that the dead rat had in fact been budget chief Mike del Grande.

There was no call for an appology.

Goddamn Raccoons! Toronto is overrun with them. I wish there could be a cull of them, there the size of small dogs here because they eat trash.

I had to sit in my bathroom with a squirt gun full of vinegar to keep them away from the stray cats I was feeding.

That's what I was wondering. If the building is mostly vacant, its time to get all hunterish and drive these bastards back into the wild.

Yeah, I can just see a bunch of Torontonians plunking off .22's in an enclosed area. Put the Emerg, the Fire Dept. and the water/sewage folks on full alert, not to mention Ontario Hydro.

This sudden and brutal invasion is a tragedy. Its long past time to have an adult conversation about Procyons, their place in our society, and whether or not having them freely avalible is worth the costs.

Yeah, our igloos have been melting due to Global Warming. Fortunately, oil prices in recent years have given us a source of an alternate building material in the form of large piles of american dollars.

Okay, that's one thing in their favour.
/stray cats are about as useful in the environment as an oil spill.

Take a cleaned raccoon cut into quarters. Add a couple onions and place in a slow cooker. Cover with BBQ sauce. Cook to bones can be picked out. Serve on buns. Tell guess there eating pulled pork.

If you want to get rid of the pungent flavor, it's best to soak overnight in salt water. The BBQ sauce might work to cover it up, depending on what type of BBQ it is.

If Toronto would foot the bill, I'd bring my coon dog up for the weekend. We'd get rid of their coon problem pretty quickly:

Walker dogs are good coon dogs, you see a lot of them in UKC competitions. Never had racoon kit before - I would assume they're a lot more tender and less pungent than adults. Then again, I don't take a lot of game, mainly because I hate the taste of coon. I'm in it for the sport, so I let the dog tree up, shine the coon, and then walk away.
