Dumbass - you're umping an A level ball game. If you just shrug off the music, the 9 people who were in attendance would have heard it, maybe 2 or 3 chuckled, and everyone else moves on with their life.

you ejecting the kid creates a national story where everyone sees you're not only a poor umpire, but also a soulless bag of anger.

good career move, ump.

So now we know TWO things about the umpire 1: He's incompetent and 2: he doesn't have a sense of humor.

They can throw anyone out.

CSB:

I used to umpire softball and baseball (dad's club) and the parents were by far the worst part of the job. One time my boss threw out both stands because they were taunting each other and the umpires. Amazing how much more fun the kids had once the parents were gone.

I personally can't wait to have kids just so I can get drunk at little league games. Doing it now is just creepy.

Don't be that guy. There are fewer forms of life lower than angry sports parents.

Ump looks like an off duty cop with an authority complex.

IAmRight: that's a tradition in sports, wtf

/worked better in hockey/basketball when there were three refs

There were never three refs in hockey. One ref and two linesmen, and in the old days, one ref and one linesman. In Europe they did a two-refs one-linesman system.

/Still funny. I laughed whenever they did it to me. Every once in a while, I'd borrow a player's stick and use it as a cane.

/Ump is a p*ssy. This is well within bounds. He should switch to tennis.
