Well, I can't speak for most, but I'd assume it's because he's a
pot-smoking,
foreign-born,
wife-cheating,
union member
of the Hollywood Elite
who married into the Kennedy clan.
And he can't balance a state budget.

We Republicans can't stand that sort of stuff. We have morals.

2012-08-02 12:37:26 PM
They need to come up with more good stuff like this :

"Conan, what is best in life?"

"To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women."

But nooooooo, they gotta waste time on stupid shiat.

"This is something I'm very passionate about, and I'll be involved in bringing talent from around the world to USC to do lectures and seminars," Schwarzenegger said. "My strength is that I'm very well known internationally and can take that message to other universities overseas and in this country.

When asked if that meant if he'll be taking a lot of time away from the USC campus to recruit said talent, Schwarzenegger replied, "I'll be back."

I always thought that Ted Kennedy running for Senate was a joke too until he actually made a career of it. Ted's contributions to liquor sales in Massachusetts were probably his most significant and positive impact as a Senator over the years, though I like to think that a fair number of young women learned to swim because of his legacy as well.

Some day perhaps we'll look back on the whole Kennedy legacy and wonder why we had so much collective national guilt over men who had trouble staying out of the line of bullets and bad flying that we elected (and re-elected) their significantly less competent relatives.

I enjoy his movies and hated him as governor of CA.

Members of the initial board of advisors all have close personal or working relationships with Schwarzenegger. They include: Henry Cisneros, former San Antonio mayor and President Bill Clinton's secretary of Housing and Urban Development; Vicente Fox, former president of Mexico; George P. Shultz, a statesman who served as U.S. secretary of State under President Ronald Reagan; Rajendra Kumar Pachauri, chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007; and Kandeh K. Yumkella, director-general of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.

Sounds good to me. Besides, his kids are part of the Trojan Family. Can't hate him for that.
