The Muthaship: OldManDownDRoad: There's no reason that civilians need grad school.

But, where will they hide from adulthood?

Fark, of course.

Wow, I'm glad you stayed on his good side, and while I'm not sure I've ever had a chill sent up through my side and body from just a glance like that if really makes you wonder about how powerful our subconscious is and how and why it is able to accumulate and process the data that it does. It's an amazing little computer.

Seems like it's mostly coincidence and selective memory.

I remember in College they had "open carry day".

People walked around with their holsters, and plastic guns in them, to show solidarity with... something? Im not sure. Im sure they had a point to that.

MaudlinMutantMollusk: //ever make eye contact with someone that sent a chill through your entire being?

I think I've read your story about this before.
And yes, yes I have. The boyfriend at the time said 'Hello' to him; he was a bit retarded. Pretty, but damned stupid.

/I slapped his arm and harshly whispered Why the hell did you make eye contact with that freak!? Great, now we're going to join his basement trove of 'pretties'...

Alternate headline: "Parent of Trojan bursts under pressure"

-- trivia: that is the high school from which Will Ferrell graduated.

Sad story.

KrispyKritter: doglover: Sex. If everyone was getting more sex, none of these problems would arise. You don't see Bonobos plotting mass murder.

bingo. in crossing over to civilization man gave up the 'drag them by the hair' primal drive to do as one damn well pleased when the urge arose. we deny our natural sexuality a healthy outlet and nothing good comes from it. things will improve radically when we're all getting laid all the time.

Quoi? I hope you're not equating rape with "healthy sexuality."

/Rape

And he only wrote it down, he didn't actually do any of it. Typical academic.

Rainer Reinscheid is a great name for a snooty, euroterrorist. He'd be perfect in the next Die Hard or Cliffhanger II.

With this for a dad, I'm sure it was the school's discipline that made him suicide...

You also don't see them getting out of the trees much either. Sex only gets you so far. If sex fixed everything I'd still be married to wife #1.

Well you are no fun.
We recently had a thread where tons of dog owners indicated that their dogs simply just *knew* when they were around bad folks. Why can't humans do the same thing, subconsciously?

Reinscheid's research included studying molecular pharmacology and psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia, stress, emotional behavior and sleep.

Why in the hell is it always the most wackadoodle people who end up being psychiatrists or involved in studying mental disorders?

In my case my depression gives me an insight to it and I want to help people that suffer as I do,
/Thankfully mine is completely biological and the meds treat it with little to no side effects.

Not sure if serious...
