Reinscheid's research included studying molecular pharmacology and psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia, stress, emotional behavior and sleep.

Why in the hell is it always the most wackadoodle people who end up being psychiatrists or involved in studying mental disorders?

I'm just glad it wasn't Cal. We already gave the world the uni-bomb, we don't need to be creating another mass-murderer.Then again, had it been a Golden Bear instead of an ant-eater, it qprobably would have been successful, so thank Biki for small favors. Finally, I knew that Uni was a tough high school... but this is ridiculous.

Wow, I'm glad you stayed on his good side, and while I'm not sure I've ever had a chill sent up through my side and body from just a glance like that if really makes you wonder about how powerful our subconscious is and how and why it is able to accumulate and process the data that it does. No worries. But I think you get it: there was this extended moment where I locked eyes with that man, and it left an impression, a sense of some shared secret. Something I can't exactly describe, but I've never forgotten. When they arrested him and showed his picture in the media, I knew EXACTLY who it was.
I'm not even going to try to tell the entire story. Too late, and too much wine.

I had an experience like tht years ago when I was at a park with my daughter. There was a creepy guy talking up some little boy and something about it just gave me the shivers. That little boy's picture apppeared on the news the next day and he was found horribly abused and murdered.
We get those vibes for a reason.

Let's just say that my uninformed layman's take on this is that few kids would kill themselves over having to pick up trash at school. Having a father this violent and insane? That might just make someone suicidal, however.

Ambivalence:
Why in the hell is it always the most wackadoodle people who end up being psychiatrists or involved in studying mental disorders?

Probably some tiny inkling of introspection that makes them understand that mental problems are Serious Business. They just don't necessarily do it enough to self-diagnose and get help. The only psychologist I ever knew had trouble keeping work because every place she got a job at was... surprise... filled with evil, crazy people who instantly offended and conspired against her. She had no friends or partner because all her friends inevitably offended or betrayed her. God knows what she could be diagnosed with - BPD? - but she was truly as nutty as a bag of squirrels.

They need laid most of all. Nobody who's good looking and has good social skills ever decides to shoot up a movie theater or climb up a clock tower. If you could get yourself a good partner on your own, you'd be with them not eating. So fatties are like one bad meal away from going all GTA Six Stars because it's HARD for them to get laid. This is what I'd call a problem.

In order to prevent an incident, I make a motion to deliver 30 short tons of hot professionals to each city to be distributed to the fatties each alternate Tuesday along with my short non-fiction book "Put the fork down, lard ass."

Incidentally, I would also get a million dollars tax free each year under this plan for being AWESOME. And a back rub. Seriously, feel my shoulder. Y'know what, screw the fatties. I just want a back run. Gya. Freakin' knotted razzle frazzle dazzle small words

Teenagers aren't the most emotionally stable folks in the world, and everything most adults would blow off seems magnified and world-shattering. And that's someone's kid, and folks get real defensive about their children, right or wrong. Combine that with the geographic localization of a bunch of people one might hold responsible for an unpleasant situation, and you've got recipe for harm. Crazy people often identify a 'them'--everything is 'their' fault, 'they' have to be punished. If you think a deep and terrible wronging occured at school, you don't go to the state fair and fill the midway with bullets--you head to the school. That's where 'they' are.

Lots of folks get into psychology as a way of helping them understand what happened to another family member or friend. If it's a family member, you're looking at mental illness in the genes. On the other hand, there's plenty of perfectly sane people studying mental illness, we just never hear about them because they aren't going on kill-crazy rampages.

Something stinks about the son's death. The cause makes no sense, the seen makes less sense. I thunk the son was murdered to cover up the bullies who pushed him to steal from the store. Thanks to the anti-bullying laws it just drives them to be more violent instead of fixing the problem.

I was thinking maybe a sports coach that has been riding him all, for a long time.
But then I remembered that it was Edison, not Uni that has the really fast XC team. Uni just has really smart kids and an impressive academic decathlon team. So, I'm thinking whatever teacher runs their academic decathlon team is the one who lunch detentioned him, and that there IS much more to this story than we know.
