And here I was hoping Gov. Scott had finally snapped.

It would have been a most expedient solution to his administration.

Butler said his brother had grabbed a broom and dustpan from the theater's lobby.

Okay, I can somewhat understand the broom, but a the dustpan?

You always bring a dustpan to a Luthor fight.

Wrong franchise, subby. You should have gone with Egghead.

-1 for subby.

If he had a .50 caliber sniper rifle he could have shot through the nearest school and killed several children.

No, he was a D&D, not an attempted battery or whatever. He just made Fark because of the Lex Luthor joke.

Clearly, more stringent gun control is warranted.

So they took that guy in for assault, right?

Rufus Lee King: Spike Lee's Favorite Farker: At least now people may stop complaining about black people's behavior at the movies.

Well, since you brought it up, I have a polite request for African-American theater patrons: Please stop hollering advice to the characters on the movie screen. It has been scientifically proven that they can't hear you.

MythDragon: Article headline: Police respond to shooting

Actually,

Article: Thoroughly crazed, terrified and pussified people sprinted out of a movie they paid for, simply because a guy yelled a few times in the theater. The article called the guy's behavior strange, but not the crowd's.

One impossibly-rare random mass killing sure gets the public on a hair trigger. A public that obviously has no formal education in statistics. I call it the 9/12 syndrome.

So now we have vigilante justice at movie theaters? Maybe the sideshow bob guy wasn't the joker, but was Bane. He is returning the theater to the people
