Jack Bauer is apparently cycling in the time trial, and they all have sperm on their heads.

Oh shiat, Spaniard's bike just broke on the start...

Is this a fencing match or a screaming match? I can't tell.

ahh, LL Sanchez's chain fell off!

In other news - the Russian beach volleyball player is crazy hot. Playing the Swiss right now.

I'm glad throwing those matches worked out so well for those Badminton teams.

What has the US won so far this morning? I can't seem to find anything on it.

If your tournament format makes it beneficial to lose matches, then the problem is with the format.

The format is stupid, but that doesn't excuse it.

is there a written rule that a player cannot hit the net or send the cock out of bounds?
If so, suspend these players, if not et them play!

It didn't fall off, it flat out just broke. Some bike mechanic is about to have a lot of explaining to do.

cameroncrazy1984: Is this a fencing match or a screaming match? I can't tell.

Yeah, the screaming was annoying the hell out of me. I don't mind the grunts in women's tennis, but the screams in fencing made me wish the American woman would just stab the other one (just a flesh wound) to give her something real to scream about.

We do so love those sitting-down sports. British sportsmen do not like their tender buttocks to be exposed to the capricious whims of the weather.

And now Sanchez had a flat.

There's a rule that says you can't do it on purpose. Also there are sportsmanship rules, that say you want just hit the shuttlecock any which way, that you will actually make your best effort to play the point. And during one match the referee did warn one team about their shenanigans.

By the end of a regatta, most rowers have spent time shoeless in a canal, so the pub comes in handy there as well.

Because it was awesome when [redacted] won the [redacted] medal in dramatic fashion during the [redacted] [redacted] final.

I had a friend who played Badminton, and won our state games 3 times in a row here, she would never have did that, but being Japanese, compared to Chinese- ones does not lose on purpose. That is how china does everything, they don't care about the moral of a game, or life perhaps, whereas writers claim that Chinese are soulless nowadays.

Also, for those so interested, 74-year-old Lleyton Hewitt is on serve in a 3rd and final set* against Djokovic.

/No tiebreak, either, as Tsonga and Raonic displayed yesterday.

The Chinese pair was throwing the game so they wouldn't face the other Chinese pair right away in the elimination round. So, yeah pretty much.

That was all. Canada won a silver in rowing. As much as I'd like to see Canada win gold, I'm still proud of our team.

Synchro diving....blah blah blah China...blah blah blah

2012-08-01 10:46:08 AM
In other news, the German currently posing the most risk for a gold medal in this time trial is named Tony Martin. I wonder if he'll shoot anyone in the back before the day is out.

2012-08-01 10:46:15 AM

for shame.

interesting that Wiggins and Froome are the only riders using the oval shaped chain rings, that's the front gears, on time trial bikes.

This is one of those nightmare scenarios where Wiggins will win.

Unless something totally farking horrible happens.
