Really? I'll have to tell the husband. He's a Bostonian and a big Red Sox fan but we live in Michigan. He pays for some MLB TV thing online to try and watch some games, but even then he can't see all of them - like tonight's game against the Tigers, he can't watch.

Possibly the expatwotsit would work with that as well? I would guess Bosox and Yankee games and the NE generally get the most blackouts?

Actually, it's some obscure spot in Idaho, I think. They are counted as belonging to 7 different MLB markets simultaneously, despite being several hundred miles from the closest stadium.

I enjoyed a visit to Dodger stadium in May.

Nah, didn't even have a chance to log in and it said that, and it shouldn't have cookies because we tried it on my comp (which has ExpatShield) and he normally watches on his comp. I just loaded up ExpatShield, went to MLB.com, tried to watch and it said it was blacked out. Harrumph.

Well, if you insist on living in a technologically backward country, you only have yourself to blame.

Phelps is swimming the 200 free an hour after the 200 butterfly. And both are finals. Also four years ago Phelps had races 20 minutes apart a few times and it was all OMG just 20 minutes!

That's all fine and well. But she had 10 minutes. 20 minutes is certainly pushing it, no doubt, but she had ten minutes and came from behind to upset two other women heavily favored over her. Franklin is the bigger story, in my opinion.

I keep getting distracted from the Russian collapse. My brain insists on trying to picture a Sherlock Holmes style mystery in which a trail of glitter leads to a killer gymnast.
