I'm okay with Vince running this, he will do this fine. And am the right age to have a fond memory of the original show, the movies nearly wiped those memories, maybe this will make up for the movies...

/I get lots of real dumb in my real life, once in a while some fluffy frothy dumb on tv helps me laugh at the real dumb.

No doubt about that. I could not care less personally. Never have seen even a second of the new Hawaii Five-O and this will be added to that list I am sure along with others like American Idol or Survivor. Might give it a try if it ever hits Netflix streaming, but I have yet to see any good reason to get any type of "live television" feed like Satellite or Cable again.

I didn't see the second one but the first one was actually pretty farking funny. And it had nothing to do with the humor in the TV show. It helped that Gary Cole elevates everything he's in.

"From producer...." is the lamest farking credit they can give, only behind "From the studio that brought you....".

The producer is the money guy. Steven Spielberg will rubber stamp his name on anything that's put in front of him, that doesn't mean we're getting another Raiders of the Lost Ark every time his name is dropped. "From director...." yeah, that means something. Citing the producer or studio means dick.
