NBC is biffing these Olympics for me. First, they constantly announce things like "Watch for the interview with the Gold-medalist (insert athlete and sport here)" BEFORE THEIR EVENT IS SHOWN ON PRIME TIME! Some of us enjoy not looking up the winners on the internet beforehand. Now, they don't even have the sense to recognize a famous athlete. When does the rebidding process begin for TV coverage?

They ran a commercial for the Today Show wherein Missy Franklin reunited with her parents "after winning Gold in London." The commercial ran during the break immediately before the race in which Franklin won her first gold.

They are using these farking games as a huge advertising dodge, those dumb farking execs refuse to listen to the backlash or take the biatching as a clue as why they are losing viewers every year, I dont know very many people who watch full shows at their scheduled time any longer, we just record it then watch it later or stream it off the net.

What I find strange about this is how Holyfield can afford to be in london when they just kicked him out of his farking 109 room mansion in south atlanta, I still cant understand how someone can make $250 million dollars and be broke less than 20 years after you quit.

Geez he should be able to sue his financial advisers for theft.

When you make a quarter-billion dollars, even after you go broke you always can afford trips to London and so on. Especially when someone is paying you to go there and celebrity at something.

Well when someone is paying you to be there they have assistants there to take care of the person they invited, my guess is that hes over there to relive his days of being in the olympics or maybe hes still tight with USA boxing, is that even a sport in the olympics any longer?

The crazy thing is that ratings are apparently up compared to Beijing. I can't explain it. Maybe it's easier for people dealing with the time delay from Europe than the time delay from Asia.

If you really want your mind blown, average that kind of fortune out in small amounts of time. $250 mil over 20 years is ~$35,000 *PER DAY*.

I think they mean the wait for what was shown on time delay here in the states.

I still cant fathom anyone pissing away that kind of money, just buy a house out in the sticks and put all your money in a cave.
