Those images are almost as painfui to see as Twilight....at least the opening credits. The only way you can realistically watch more than that portion of the film is with some serious help that makes it damn entertaining.

OMFG!!! Now I know why the Aurora Shooter went nuts, he was sitting next to her during the Dark Knight Rises.

One good thing that came from watching that is that the trailer for BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD played as an intro ad. If nothing else, the music was great.

Mugato: I know tone of the guys who does the marketing for these farking movies an he's so earnest about them like he's required to be and it's farking sad. God what a mournful farking movie franchise.

I worked for a company whose marketing arm got a contract for 5 Hour Energy ads. If you've seen the TV spots from the last couple of years, you've seen their work. 5 Hour Energy made it abundantly clear that not only did they want low production values, they wanted it to LOOK like it had low production values. I'm sure you remember classics like "Guy in cubicle tells you about 5 Hour Energy". My department was outsourced, so I'm not sure if they're responsible for the Cowboy that's been playing lately or not...
Anyway, the makers of these promotional stills might be under the same constraints. The producers, Stephanie Meyers, whoever, has stated that vampires all have to do the brooding sparkle, and the photographers aren't allowed to do anything interesting.

I'm curious to see how the whole "Kristen Stewart farked around on Rob" thing works into the promotion and merchandising for this movie. You just know that the money machine behind this saw that whole thing as a major blow to the Twilight "brand". I predict a more low key roll out and distribution, box office down noticeably, merchandising a bit more restrained and Stewart getting sued for damaging the brand with her off screen behavior.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. They lure you into a false sense of security being all cuddly and nice. They even make you think they glow in daylight!.

But then, just when you're most vulnerable...

I could care less about the series. I am just glad that young teens are interested in reading and reading doesn't automatically make you unpopular anymore. I guess I'm in the minority here.

Last year, I got in a huge argument about Twilight at work, where a MALE coworker proceeded to give me shiat for not liking the franchise. My standby answer is that I am Team Nosferatu. if they push, I say I like Nosferatu, Dracula 2000, hell I'm even down for Blade sometimes, and I play Vampire the Masquerade (children of Malkav represent). And he just stared at me in confusion.

Then vandalized all my frigging flip notebooks when I wasn't looking. Wrote "Twilight Rules" in sharpie all over my stuff. My work gloves too!

I made it slightly less than 4 minutes before I completely lost faith in humanity. The most horrifying thing about this video (the first, and hopefully only one I will ever see from this... Person) is not the amount of trainwreck that must be her existence, but the realization that there are probably millions of twilight fans exactly like her.
