Much like Barney Stinson, they do not have the shame gland. I suspect they have a second douche gland instead.

FFS, not this again.

I can only hope that this blows up in their goddamn faces and the entire Republican caucus is removed from Congress by angry, pitchfork-wielding mobs.

Obama: "Instead of making tough choices to reduce the deficit, [the GOP] would rather protect tax cuts for some of the wealthiest Americans, even if it risks big cuts in our military. And I've gotta tell you VFW, I disagree. If the choice is between tax cuts that the wealthiest Americans don't need, and funding our troops that [we] definitely need to keep our country strong, I will stand with our troops every single time."

Now THAT'S how you shove a stick up your opponent's ass! He not only accuses the GOP of wanting unnecessary tax cuts for the rich, but says that they would even cut military spending to get them. Seriously, this guy knows what he doing.

No wonder Boehner lifted his head out of his whiskey sour and started barking a bunch of shameless nonsense... he's about to find that his balls are in the salad shooter...

I ... I ... don't quite know how to mentally process this.

Even following his "guide" of this being a sequester it doesn't make logical sense.

FTA: "It was the president who came up with the sequester because he didn't want the debt limit to get in the way of his campaign," said House Speaker John Boehner at his weekly press availability last week. "Now these cuts are looming and he's nowhere to be found."

Hey, Boehner. You and your cohorts made that shiat sandwich. You even provided the sandwich spread for it. Now take a bite out of that sandwich and wash it down with a deep swig from your glass of bourbon.

MMM..... yummy! Takes good, huh?

I said it when it happened. Boehner gave away everything - the debt ceiling raise - and all he got in return was unspecified future cuts that his caucus didn't want anyway.

Across the universe, this is going to be known as Obama's failure. This isn't surprising at all, it's his fault. He's the one who wanted to undermine national security for political gain--Obummer is concerned another debt crisis from his socialistic policies would hurt his chance to get elected. Well back in the USSR that might have worked but here we have free press and government officials which will call him out on his shenanigans. People need to come together and realize what a dangerous place we're going. You want to understand teh common man, b hussein? why don't you drive my car to and from work for a week and pick up the kids in it and see if you can understand what your scoialist policies rae doing to every little thing in this country? Thta's right, you hurt people and you don't care. Well, maybe it's time for us to really say something. A message from Me to You mr president: We will not be islamo-fascisted. People shouldn't throw stones if they're in a house made of glass. Onion aren't the only things that can make you weep, honey pie. Now is the time to unite behind the GOP and really make a push to get the libs out of government forever. we need a strong candidate to stand up and say "I wanna be your man" and lead us to the white house. 50 states. sweep the electorals. sweep the senate clear of the junk. sweep the house and let it be known that we won't go out gentle, we won't go out at all. Then 9bama can go off on his magical mystery tour with his hippie friends and some their pot or bath salts orw whatever. don't worry about getting back to me, mr president, I know how you libbocreeps function. there will be no reply worth hearing anyhow.

for every misstep the president makes, there are a few well planted long game seeds always sitting around.

It really is amazing that they got the Republicans to agree that if they do nothing, military spending will get cut AND the tax cuts will expire the first of the year.

I wasn't sure who you were referring to at first; good to see my initial hunch was correct. And yes, it's a particularly stunning Xanatos gambit. The Democrats are showing that they support reducing the debt while still standing by current defense and social programs, and the GOP has to choose between screwing the rich or screwing the soldiers. Obama may have blundered into the debt ceiling crisis by thinking they would never hold our credit rating hostage, but he sure made a delicious pitcher of lemonade out of some noxious lemons.

Pelley: You were unable to get your own caucus behind your bill a few days ago. Do you intend to remain Speaker of the House?

Boehner: I do. When you look at this final agreement that we came to with the white House, I got 98 percent of what I wanted. I'm pretty happy.

~BHO

Why do Republicans hate the troops?

So what now? Being the biggest obstructionist farkups they can possibly be and then trying to blame the resulting chaos on Obama is the GOP's one and only plan?

The GOP's initial balking at debt ceiling increase bill leading to the creation of the Super Committee is what started all this. The so-called Super Committee then ultimately failed to make an eleventh hour deal due mainly to last minute GOP intransigence.

That fact leads the US now towards a painful series of across the board cuts in the near term when the sequestrations mechanism kicks in Cuts the GOP are already trying to weasel out of and somehow blame on Obama.

Shameless, brainless, suicidal, party before country political hacks, the lot of them.

At this point voting for the GOP is kinda like voting to give yourself colorectal cancer.

"uhhh, thank you Mr. Speaker.

Ah...but taxes didn't go up a single penny because of that. The GOP has to continue to appease a doughy sub-human's ego, so they've got that going for them.
