I actually felt kind of bad saying that. I don't think he was mediocre, but he gets accused of being it often. I think maybe average is a better term, though he did seem to be a decent guy and not a bad statesman.

I honestly think that he would have been great for the country, had he been given a chance. He was probably the last HONEST leader we'll ever have, but there was no way he could get anything done with the Nixon situation hanging over him, and once he pardoned Nixon, his political career was over.

Nah, Carter was an honest man, too. And his honesty about the "malaise" the country was in led to his downfall.

This is a holy site for the Polish people. Show some respect." The back and forth continued for a few seconds until Gorka ended the conversation with, "Why don't you shove it?"

There are no meaningful questions to ask about Polish-American relations, and if you try ask a question about domestic policy you'll be easily brushed aside with a "now is not the time for that type of question.
