I'd be more in favor of a new tag for PAID links.

Quit tap dancing around the fact, put them up there properly categorized and let the market decide if they're worth anything.

Instead of hiding them among user-submitted content and promoting them as something they're not.

Laugh now, subby, but when somebody broadcasts Snow Crash to everyone's TV, only those of us with this cable will be protected.

Hello, my retarded friend. Subby here.
Ahem.
What?
This is clearly not designed to sell anyone anything. It is stupid. The people who would buy it based on this claim are stupid. Making this, therefore, a clearly farkable submission.

(BTW, I can get you these cables for 30% of cost.* Check my profile for details**)

Didn't say it was, name calling reactionary twat.

Was using your subject as a means to point out that a good number of posts are in fact PAID, and that it would be optimal if they were tagged as such.

Once your light is green, you are no longer in control. Please adjust expectation as required.

It is my understanding that they already do this. Some headlines include "(paid submission)" at the end of the title. You've been around as long as I have, so I'm surprised you haven't seen this yet. As to if they actually add that to every paid submission, that's a question for the Modmins.

Daily mail has tons of tit pics and such. And most of the pants on head stupid is funny enough to warrant a read.

Gawker sites on the other hand, can't be anything but paid links. Never content worth seeing, 400 scripts running (including everything, EVERYTHING on the page sans header), and usually slide shows.

Article title says, "This HDMI cable represents the edge of human stupidity."

Fark's front page illustrates that neither statement is true.

Man pulls gun during fight, shoots himself
Before you give deputies consent to search your home, you might first want to hide the container of cocaine that's sitting in plain view out in the open
Florida man stands his ground, shoots door-to-door salesman in the head "for effect"
Deep fried mashed potato cubes.
Woman who drove drunk at 7:45 in the morning, ran over a teacher, and then fled the scene goes on Facebook to tell the haters to suck it
Man gripped by Olympic fever tries to swim to America from France.
One man believes the Midwest is in a drought because God is getting back at the United States for sinning, mostly because abortion is still legal
