Hamas : Gaza

Conservatives : Mississippi

Wow. Ok, you really changed some minds there. That was brilliant. Well done. Case closed.

/maybe you should look up how many Democrats there are in Mississippi.

Far too few to be effective against any legislation the conservative majority wants? Republicans kind of control the State House, State Senate and Governorship.

And just for kicks: their state legislature site is from 1998, complete with bubbly font

Why can't we have proper websites for our states? It's 2012 (in some of them)!

So now Romney's got high-rollers like John McCain and Karl Rove covering for his blunders while scratching their heads.

Good move, Mittens.

high taxes on job creators and lots of regulation on cleanliness?

Of course your only "job" was to toil for the benefit of your King and the Holy Pope, they created your "job" by divine mandate. In fact, it was they who taxed you, to provide them with the spoils they are entitled to by birthright and Papal decree. As for cleanliness, people were too busy trying to keep their children alive into adolescence or finding places to put the bodies of plague victims to bathe. Besides, you'd catch pneumonia from the witch that put a curse on the nearby river, it was much safer to just keep a good stink about yourself in order to ward off evil spirits.

Regardless of what he meant or dd not mean it's clear to even the dullest observer that Romney has an almost incomprehensibly tin ear. How the hell did this guy get elected to anything? He makes Bush the Younger's pronouncements sound like goddam Lord Palmerston. There is literally no subject that he can extemporaneously speak on without displaying a remarkably poor command of facts and the delivery of Kane's girlfriend at the opera house. Christ, even with prepared remarks he managed to screw it up again today.

I find the bolded very difficult to be true. Not one single person is not corrupt? Not ONE?

Every single problem they blame on others? All of them, No one there has EVER said a problem was their own?

I think Bush had the expectations game down pat. We all knew, long before he was president, that George W. Bush would say stupid stuff from time to time. It was usually the harmless kind of gaffe; my favorite is the "fool me twice, can't get fooled again". It's hilarious, useless, and doesn't mean anything. Everyone would shrug it off because we expected George W. Bush to say retarded stuff like that.

With Romney, we expected something different. It's a little surprising that a man that accomplished in business would be completely incapable of reciting prepared remarks without putting his foot in his mouth.

No they're not, and they never were. They are a completely artificial entity that exists only as a foothold for the United States, they are geopolitical leverage. They just keep building and expanding and getting away with it because enough morons in the west have somehow been convinced that the palastinians are the bad guys and the US just manipulates the UN and every other world body and lets Israel do whatever the hell they want. There is no real will to get the Palestinians their homes back. The Israelis are the biggest hipocrites on the planet, happily inflicting on other people injustices that have been done to them.

"And that goes to the leadership of the Palestinians. Everybody knows that Yasser Arafat was corrupt. And we also know that the Palestinian people have not been blessed with the kind of government that has lower regulations, less taxes, entrepreneurship, which have caused the Israeli economy to be one of the world's most successful. It has nothing to do with cultures. It has nothing to do with superiority or inferiority. But facts of the booming Israeli economy has to do with the kind of government that the Israeli people have freely and democratically elected which has given them a very prosperous country."

Sounds legit. Couldn't possibly be any other reasons.

WTF? I can't tell if this is condescending or just lying.

McCain noted he had not seen or heard Romney's remarks, but that didn't stop him from defending what Romney meant. "I'm sure I know what he was saying, though," McCain continued.

The truth is the Palestinian terror culture is a TOTAL FAILURE. They actively teach hate and racism to children and blame all of their problems on others. Romney hasn't "accomplished" anything! These people grow up rich in a system that is designed to keep them rich. They make the laws, they legislate the regulations and they stay rich, there's nothing in his resume which even remotely qualifies him to lead a country except by republican standards, and we've seen where that leads.

THIS!

Obama is going to mop the floor with him. Obama is unflappable. Romney is easily flustered. All things being equal, which they never are, that emotional balance is going to tip the scales massively for Obama.

Romney will see a bump at/near the convention, when he announces his running mate, but then the media is going to tear into that guy, and the attack ads will start, and then it will be over.

Can't we just have the election today? Get it over with? You political types are going to give me ulcers!
