In other words, you don't like the Olympics or anything remotely outside of your comfort zone. And you're kind of a meathead.

Some of the seats at track and field were apparently up near 700 pounds

I guess that would be the American section, then. .

Archery -no

Wrestling -no

Wouldn't it have just been easier to say "I don't really like the Olympics" and be done with it? I'd personally love to see pretty much any event live. These athletes have trained most of their lives to be there, they are going to be the very best at what it is they do (even if obscure), so sure, why wouldn't I like to see that?

Or, you could read the article, and discover people are just cranky that sponsors and dignitaries were given big blocks of tickets that aren't being used, and the common man is a bit confused why he can't just buy unused seats, what with the whole capitalism thing the first world always goes on about.

It seems every time there is this issue with empty seats, often in the premium sections because those seats cost so much. I remember hearing that premium seats for some of the swimming events were upwards of $300.

If you want to solve some of that problem, sell some of your lower cost seats with an upgrade option. Say a 25% premium, and if the expensive seats don't fill up, you get to move.
