Of course, you can always go to the bane of our existence watching ESPN, showing twice in one break at the Glen race last year

I'll bet you walk around humming "We are Farmer's...bum badum bum bum bum bum" all the time, too.

Dumb-Ass-Monkey: Lil' Max Meatboots: FuLinHyu: "The crowd rising and cheering for the start of the Brickyard 400".

Then laying down on all the empty seats for a siesta.

which is why I asked if Junior's car was silver today, looks like we have about 200,000 "fans" dressed as bleachers today

One really big problem with NASCAR right now is that tickets don't reflect the current economy. I don't know about other track, but at Sears Point, individual tickets cost about $100 each, just for race day. $150 or so for the 3 day weekend. For a family of 4, that's $400 to $600 just to get in to the race. That's not taking things like parking, food, souvenirs, and whatnot into consideration. It's hard to justify that kind of money just for a weekend.

So much this.

Tickets for the Brickyard were running about $75 each earlier this week, plus $20 to park and $5 bottles of water inside. Then there's the standard 200% markup on travel-related items near Indy this weekend.

The weather is actually incredible since it has been basically 100 degrees since the beginning of June.

Former Hoosier, couldn't go home this weekend.

MattyFridays: So AJ got nailed for "Amphetamines"... is that code for Meth?

could be as simple as him taking some OTC Sudafed to help with allergies.
But he seems ready and willing to work with NASCAR to figure out how he got the positive test, and find out what he can do to get back in. So at least he's not going Full Mayfield.

I just had a waking nightmare of Merideth 'Money Shot' Viera and Matt Lauer trying to call the Brickyard. Instead of green flag pit stops, we get Ryan Seacrest interviewing Danica, and then Costas and Lauer making AJ Foyt weight jokes anytime Tony Stewart is on screen.

I love going to Indy for the 500, been there the last 20 years or so. I went to the Brickyard 400 a few years back and didn't care for it, very little passing. Montoya should have won that year but for a (in my opinion) bogus penalty in the pits.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Two Wright's make an airplane. 300-2400 left's make a NASCAR race
