namatad: gilgigamesh: It'll be Portman. You heard it here first.

Natalie Portman is a republican? is she even old enough to run for vp?

She can be on my ballot any time!

Would he really pick Gov. Ultrasound?

Tommy Moo: To everyone laughing at the list, who (realistically) would you recommend as his best choice? The one I'd be most afraid of is Christie. That man dangerously and legitimately attacks Obama's hold on the working class everyman. He's about the only national-scale GOP member I feel like identifies with the "little people." Of course, he has said he isn't interested...

Is that a fat joke?

Quantum nitwit 2012!

Can you add two kets together?

Sorry I haven't read the thread since, so perhaps someone answered, but of yes you can. Bras and kets need to be kept separate but two kets can be combined, e.g. I could have written
|(Romney + anti-Romney)>/sqrt(2)
in a single ket.
In math speak, all bras and kets (and their inner products) obey they rules of algebra, namely that they're commutative, associative, and distributive.

If by identifies, you mean eats, then I agree.

He has to at least PRETEND he wants to win.

Ted Nugent sits patiently by the phone. Every now and then his face breaks into an involuntary stage grimace. He sits with his hands folded in his lap.

The shadows creep higher up the wall. But he knows: the phone will ring. His destiny is at hand.

"Hello?"

"Hello. Am I speaking to Weedlord Bonerhitler?"

"Yes. Yes you are."

"Mr. Bonerhitler...the American people need you."

TheSopwithTurtle: Jon Huntsman?
Gary Johnson?
Colin Powell?
Buddy Roemer?

Huntsman is as interesting as grass clippings, Johnson doesn't make sense because he's pro legalization, anti-war crowd and while I am for both of those things, Romney isn't. Powell is brown and that is obviously just a token move and Roemer isn't a republican.

intelligent comment below: Why don't you ever post in a topic at the same time as MeinRS6?

Are you trying to out me as an alt? This account is over 10+ years old and I've never had one...but whatever helps you sleep at night.

TheBigJerk: But you don't care, you just want to pretend you "got" those dirty libtards with your FLAWLESS logic that they are liberal and thus biased.

And you pretty much proved my point about any woman or candidate of color being selected as a token measure or some way closet racists can try to hide their racism. Get over yourself.

The worse the chances of winning the election, the worse the list of likely VP nominations. Draw your own conclusions.

You sound like a sniveling whiner who should be glad-handing Romney as he deplanes in Tel Aviv, making promises to nuke Iran if your brethren will use their power$ and influence to help him unseat the Attractive and Successful incumbent.

You can bet that Romney will be making the obligatory kowtowing stops Yad Vashem and the Wailing Wall in Izzyland, then after few hours of kissing Bibi's ass, he'll be off to lay a wreath and shed a tear at Auschwitz.

Why the fark else would he go to farking Poland?

Have a nice evening, ICB.

Exactly. A handful of posts and all because you wanted to turn it into a topic about Israel

You just proved my point. You never post unless you can blame the Jews for something

I have him favorited in as close a color to the Israeli blue as possible.

Santorum, because his recent butthurt over anyone daring to criticize St. Paterno makes Team Romney think that'll put Pennsylvania in play.

Sadly, they might be right.

StoneColdAtheist: hurdboy: Saw a report yesterday that the short list actually is:
McDonnell
Rubio
Jindal.

All three of those have something in common that'll irk the Evangelicals, though Pat Robertson would be okay with the guy who lives in Virginia Beach.

Lemme guess...

McDonnell - Catholic
Rubio - Catholic
Jindal - CatholicHindu

How'm I doin'?

Rubio is Catholic but also has ties to the Mormon church.

So he's a brown Messican who could possible be a Mormon as well.

It won't be Rubio.

Romney / Palpatine 2012

I don't think he's allowed to put the Pope on the ticket as VP.

Cheers.

Well if they can doubt that Obama was born in Hawaii, I imagine they can convince the media to leave the question open of whether Ratzinger was born in Bavaria in Germany or Bavaria in Kansas.

StreetlightInTheGhetto: intelligent comment below: Amos doesn't post in a topic he doesn't try and make about how evil the Jews are.

He thinks Romney is going to Poland to shore up the Jewish vote.

I got that.

I still don't get Romney's logic behind the choice. Other than a continuation of "What About Poland"? The fact that he's too scared to go beyond Europe or the Promised Land and Poland is our ally and non-Anglo-Saxony enough? Hell, why not just throw in Canada since Harper's still in power? I don't get it.

You're assuming that the choice was made out of a pool of N countries of interest (to Romney). More likely, it was N-M countries where M represents the set of countries that had already indicated they weren't interested in his coming to visit them.

Note: anyone defending Penn State wrt to the Sandusky situation really, really creeps me out.

I'm thinking this is more likely then people realize. A female, who is not as dumb as Sarah Palin, would have a good chance of getting picked.

Coco LaFemme: He has to choose someone who can bring in the Fundie vote, because the Fundies won't vote for a Mormon anymore than they'd vote for Obama.

Fundie Christians are sheep, and will do exactly as they're told per usual. They know who their betters are and won't do a damn thing to rock the boat, especially voting against a sekret muslin.

intelligent comment below: StreetlightInTheGhetto: Amos Quito: Then he's off to visit Poland to court six million Chicago-style voters.

BWAHAHAHAHA.

Second time I got a good laugh in this thread, thanks.

/2nd gen Polish American
//no way in hell are any of my aunts, uncles, or my mom voting for Romney, Polish visit or not
///for starters, union apprenticeship and training is how most of them pulled themselves into the middle class
////and the rest, aid at state universities

I don't really get his angle here; Poland is a great ally but there are tricky, tricky issues and they're not always that pleased with us (see: Russia missile defense). Hell, Obama managed to pull a Polish Death Camp gaffe there (and my grandmother was in a Nazi labor camp in Poland during the war - I can see how that stung, although it seems like a minor quibble initially).

It's an effing minefield for Romney for anyone who cares to pay attention. Because he couldn't pull off meeting with the Brits before the goddamn Olympics. But no one will probably care anyway. Should be fun to watch unfold, though.

Amos doesn't post in a topic he doesn't try and make about how evil the Jews are.

He thinks Romney is going to Poland to shore up the Jewish vote.

LOL!

As I predicted above, he's already visited the Western Wall, and you can bet he'll be at Yad Vashem before he heads to Poland.

Once there, let's see if Romney makes the obligatory visit to Auschwitz (or other Holocaust-shrines).

If he does, I'm right (but either way, you'll still be wrong).

And as I've said before, Jews make up less than 2% of the US population, so "the Jewish vote" doesn't mean squat. Successfully courting Jews, whether in the US or abroad, means getting Jewish $upport, in finance, media, news, editorials, etc.

It's all about the SPIN.

2012-07-29 05:52:20 PM
Mitch Daniels is way too reasonable for the derpers.

I think that Mitch and Condi may say they support Romney, but when they go to the booth, they'll vote otherwise.
