Yeah.

I guess comedy doesn't have to mean funny.

I'm not a slideshow fan but I love how this one re-sizes from picture to picture and jumps allover my screen. Not.

If I see Adam Sandler on the first slide of a funny movies list I just know I'm in for a whole lot of fail.

Generation_D: Deslided Version, biatches.

Thanks for that!

Is this list in any kind of order? I need to know whether to be outraged or pleased to see Goundhog Day at "#6".

2012-07-28 07:46:13 PM
Fargo is a comedy? In that case Grosse Pointe Blank belongs on the list.

2012-07-28 07:47:02 PM
No Princess Bride.
No Ghostbusters.
No Blues Brothers.
No Wayne's World.

But Sideways? Chicago?

Did this guy watch any of these movies, or did he pick a couple comedies he likes that nobody else does and randomly searched for critically rated films to pad his list?

2012-07-28 07:50:27 PM
Also:

No Half Baked.
No Super Troopers.
No Clue.

Though at least he had the original Producers, though that was probably by mistake.

Also a distinct lack of Cheech and Chong on that list. Not to mention absolutely the wrong Woody Allen movies.

Thank you.

But I still had to stop looking once I saw "Sideways".

FTFA:

John Belushi (Center) in "Animal House." Because so many of you asked. Maybe I need to see it again -- but I never thought it was all that funny. Then again, I only saw it on TV. (Universal Pictures 1978)

You are bad and you should feel bad.

Did Schindler make this list?

Nice random list of comedies since 1960.

I would be interested in reading a list of best comedies since 1960.

Trading Places
Real Genius

OK. They have The Producers and Young Frankenstein. Did I miss Blazing Saddles?

And for all the Woody Allen movies, they left of Sleeper.

Grumpy old men, Road Trip, Raising Arizona, What About Bob, Uncle Buck, Great Outdoors, Trains, Planes and Automobiles, Vacation, Christmas Vacation, Scrooged, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Tommy Boy, The Wedding Singer, Joe Dirt, Half Baked, Any muppet movie, Pee Wee Herman's Big Adventure, Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Ace Ventura II, Stranger than Fiction, Step Brothers, High Fidelity, One Crazy Summer, Better off Dead, Just off the top of my head. Summoner101: No Princess Bride.

Was the Princess Bride supposed to be a comedy? Just because you laughed a few times doesn't mean it isn't a fairy tale.

The Naked Gun: They were all funny, but the one where he is trying to save Queen Elizabeth II was the best. Look it up online, and you'll know which one I'm talking about -- even though I don't.

Wow. It doesn't get much lazier than this. I'm surprised they bothered to get a picture for it.
