Second, it's 2012. You know that right? What the hell is with the 720 garbage? Are you that ghetto you can't make it 1080?

Third, I know it's fake, I can tell by the pixels. FAIL!

Fourth, my Fark snark is now off, I'm totally just keeeeding w/ you. That was really cool and a billion time better than I could ever do! Thanks for the entertainment!

Heh, I'm just not quite sure, first there was the big fire, but nothing fell out of the sky to start it, but some helicopters flew overhead. Then some big fireballs come down out of the sky. Then some big flying things that don't look like planes or helicopters to me. It reminded me of what happens when I get bored playing SimCity and pop open the disaster menu.

Not to mention the simultaneous impacts and sound, when the buildings are clearly far enough away to cause a significant delay. I call fake.

that is easy to explain.. he moved there from the US to be with his mistress and now his wife is trying to take him to the cleaners in court which is why he needed to be on the earlier flight..

but seriously.. AWESOME job.. I was so wrapped up in it that when it went to black I was all Vader.. NOOOooooooooo... nah, but I did want more.. thanks again..

Although, I do have one small critique: when the actor "accelerates" and "decelerates" the car, doesn't look natural/real. Maybe have him tense forward when he accelerates, and backwards when he decelerates; has to be subtle, but might help with the issue.

Yeah, we worked on that, but it always looked fake. It only ever got to about 85% of where I wanted it to look, but it was just me and a buddy, and we had to draw the line somewhere.

Most of the 3D buildings are stolen from Google Earth...

That was pretty good. But credit card security codes are three digits, not four.

I don't know about the ending. A little disappointing. But I don't know what could be done differently to make it better.

Nice job Subby. That would make a great first 5 minutes of a movie.

We could use a few more discussion points though. When you make the feature length version, be sure to add your mom, a happy ending and a streetlight. And don't forget this girl:

The buildings in the back immediately caught my attention because they seemed to be moving too slowly in relation to his speed.. though when I look at it again, I realize he was just stuck in traffic.. but I guess that didn't occur to me.

We used fake postal codes and CC numbers... However I'm glad I'm accumulating anecdotes for the IMDB page... Which is here, BTW.

The tall building that topples near the end seems to have too much rotation. Imagine having to accellerate the intact mass above the rotation point laterally Buildings that size collapse under their own weight instead of staying intact and rotating to the ground like a thinner radio tower or smokestack might; it seemed too massive to be able to withstand not breaking apart and coming straight down like the WTC buildings did.

Oh we're aware. But we had to differentiate it from a 9/11 style collapse so as not to confuse the point.
Just looks cooler

The movie would be 12 consecutive scenes of him doing day to day stuff while crazy shiat is happening in the background.

Scene 2: taking his Dad out for lunch at a Ruby Tuesday, while an orgy breaks out in the background.

I've been trying to figure out the nature of that incident, and I'm not seeing the theme. Multiple terrorist strikes targeting all local radio stations? Conventional war breaking out with randomly dropped munitions, somehow knocking out all the transmitters? High-altitude nuke taking out the power grid through EMP? What, exactly, was happening in the background?
