The back door opened, and officers wearing camouflage and carrying AK-47 assault rifles jumped out and ran into the building

Yeah, that seems real likely.

Better BAFT than BAFTA. Critics can be so vicious.

While it's within the realm of possibility, I'm calling bullshiat on a raid team being outfitted with AK-pattern rifles. Errors like this speak volumes about journalistic integrity and reliability.

"arrested Keegan Chasse, 24, on a charge of possession of an electrical weapon, a Taser. found in a dresser in the bedroom. "

I'm sorry, but what ass-backwards dictatorial police state do we live in where a man can't have a freaking taser in his bedroom dresser? How the hell is that illegal? How the hell do my tax dollars pay for this crap, and why aren't all these steroid using officers out of a job?

Reminds me of the post a friend of mine made when her ex-husband got raided by the LA SWAT. She lived down the street from him and got a front-row seat to it. Apparently he got drunk and threatened to go on a shooting spree despite not actually having any guns.

My friend with thrilled, she could finally get sole custody!

Which is odd seeing as there completely legal too.

My girlfriend and I sit out on the porch anytime the crazy neighbors get a visit from the cops, which is pretty frequently. It's great entertainment.

So why even make the attempt at specifics ? Why try to bluff like you know the difference between one gun or another ?

It is the firearms equivalent of using "irregardless" or "for all intensive purposes". Anyone that does that is just screaming their ignorance from the rooftops.

HI, MA, MI, NJ, NY, RI and all U.S. Virgin Islands. I wouldn't call most of those a police state, but New Jersey sure is. Further, Annapolis, MD, Baltimore, MD, Baltimore County, MD, Chicago, IL, District Of Columbia, and Philadelphia, PA, all places where you'd most need to defend yourself. Of course, these are all places where it's illegal to do so, so yeah, police state.

"I grabbed my chair and a soda and watched the whole thing," said Gayle King, 49, of 428 Andover St., located across the street from the yellow apartment building that was raided. "I got to know some of the neighbors."

Sometimes it's the little things that bring a community together.

I think it was decided years ago to drop the requirement for reading comprehension and accuracy for headline writing.

Something about beer, bacon and cheetoes went into the decision.
