Interesting that a cross-eyed retard without a college degree gets to speak at the most prestigious Ivy League university in the country.

Harvard students should demand a partial tuition reimbursement.

The only bigger WTF moment I can think of with him would be for him to be the keynote speaker at an AFL-CIO convention.

Funny how the college elite all come out in form to attack him. You would think that a degree is the final word on what it takes to be a success. Bill Gates is laughing at you. Steve Jobs is from his grave.

Anyone who says you need a college degree to succeed is wrong, but proportionally the ratio of people with one or more degrees who are successes to people without any degrees who are successes is pretty one-sided in favor of getting a college degree.

I'll take criticism from the Bill Gates' of the world about the virtues of a college degree and consider them carefully, but I find it a waste of time to entertain criticisms from the millions of unsuccessful people who don't have a college degree about the virtues of a college degree.

Ok, me, as someone who did not graduate college will ask -

One what farking planet does it make sense that a college dropout is addressing college students about education?

Really, please for once pull your head out of your ass, and respond to something using logic. I'd really, love to see it at least once in my life.

Chairman Obama, who obviously speaks for all Lib'ruls, has said that college is not for everyone.

Therefore the official liberal position is: a college degree is not for everyone.

Why do you hate conservatism?

Yeah, Gate's is laughing so hard that his foundation is going help put 27,000 low income kids pay for college. Because obviously he thinks college is a waste of time.

If what you say is absolutely true for everyone, then how do you explain

www.bls.gov

...???

Unless Jobs and Gates are outliers, wouldn't the graph show no correlation between earnings and education level? Please explain.

Sometimes it's good to have the exact opposite of what you embody speak so people can recognize it easier. In the case of education and enlightenment, Walker is perfect.

So a plutocrat is going to address the latest crop of junior plutocrats.

Harvard isn't education so much as gateway to the wide world of plutocracy. He's networking.

2012-07-26 02:27:16 PM
I don't see the irony here. Well more than half of those kids would have made it into Harvard with or without the public education system.

2012-07-26 02:27:24 PM
Yea, y'all are looking at this from the wrong angle... Harvard is a school for the insanely rich or insanely smart. I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark here and say that the really smart kids are not in the Harvard Government part of the school. This is a conference of a bought-and-paid-for-politician rubbing elbows with his future employers.

Hey... what's this harshing on college dropouts? I realize Walker is an asshole and all, but many of us are productive members of society.

More productive, heck I earn more that my brother with the MBA.

(Just remember kids at home: if you are going to drop out of college and join the circus, pick a field like computer programming. And be good at it.)

He was just what you expect he was. The good little college Republican running around campus in his blue blazer, pretty well annoying the shiat out of everyone else.

He did manage to lose a residence hall council election that he was running unopposed in.

What, you mean the same Dubya Bush who only got in to Harvard because of daddy's connections? Who went there after barely graduating Yale with a C+ average, which only let him in on a legacy admission?

The same Dubya Bush who ran every business he ever owned into the ground before getting "elected" by running on his business acumen?

THAT Dubya Bush?

He'd have to spend some more time actually within the state of Wisconsin to do that. The desk doesn't travel with him on his ass-kissing and Koch-sucking adventures.

And helped Wisconsin escape the thrall of public employee unions, fought off an attack by the Democratic machine, and put the state on a more sound fiscal footing. Other than that, not much.

Look man, if you can't even get a job as a secretary without a bachelor's degree then I GOTTA say that I think a bachelor's degree is the absolute minimum education required to be the governor of a farking state!

If that makes me an elitist. Then so farking be it -- I'm an elitist.
