The carnage! Can we help? Maybe we could adopt a few dozen cans find a home... with each of us...

+1 to the reporter with the reference to "precious cargo".

2012-07-26 11:56:34 AM
Seriously there should be a law making it illegal to post pictures like that on the internet. I'm going to need to go consult my bartender for 2-3 weeks to get over seeing that. :(

2012-07-26 11:56:49 AM
That may be is the the most horrific site I have ever seen........

2012-07-26 11:57:15 AM
Someone needs to roll up with a shiat ton of pretzels.

2012-07-26 11:57:44 AM
I wonder if this will be filed under "Alcohol involved accident"

Mishno: +1 to the reporter with the reference to "precious cargo".

Came here to say that. Clearly the reporter has her priorities in order.

However, I'm confused. "the woman driving the beer truck" vs. "cited for failure to secure his load." Pronoun failure?

Why is it nobody ever bushwacks through the woods next to the highway with a wheelbarrow and loads up before the cops get there?

2012-07-26 11:59:01 AM
Why does this kind of thing always happen to the innocents! Why couldn't it be a smirnoff truck??

*goes back to weeping*

ZAZ: The woman driving the beer truck

That's legal in Maryland?

Should be mandatory. Women delivering beer. Mmmmm.

2012-07-26 12:00:12 PM
ahh good hopefully this saved some lives...

Alright people, it's time to ask the tough questions. What kind of beer was it? My level of horror will be adjusted accordingly.

You just never hear of it. Entire truckloads vanishing...

I thought we couldn't post snuff pictures to fark!

2012-07-26 12:03:01 PM
It could be worse! The beer truck could have hit a bacon truck....

2012-07-26 12:03:39 PM
Big surprise: people in Maryland can't drive.

Given the red and blue packaging, I'm guessing Bud and Bud Light. Therefore, of course, no real loss.

This is why we need mandatory seat belt laws. They had no chance, they weren't even strapped in.

The biggest problem is that women can't keep their kegs together.

Accident happened around 4:10. By the time I passed it at 10 this morning, NB lanes were still shut down, and SB was backed up for miles due to rubbernecking.

To the person asking about pronoun fail--the beer truck driver was female. The accident happened when she tried to avoid debris already in the road. The debris came from another driver, who reported his lost load to police. THAT driver was cited, and was the "he."

On I-270 northbound, about 10 miles south of Fredneck.

Whoa that's only a few miles away. I'm on my way to assist with the cleanup!

Has been. Can you imagine the carnage that could be caused by thousand of pounds of pretty much anything flying around a highway?

Looks like Budweiser and Bud Lite.

I'll pass.

Well, I guess Bud Lite is OK in a pinch like now when it is hot like now

Good thing it wasn't Blue Moon. That could absorb into the soil and get into the water table, and turn everyone into pretentious wankers.

Came here to say that, ya right bloody bastidge!

So, I'm reduced to my second choice:

Galloping Galoshes: Pronoun failure?

No.

Pronoun trouble.

That is certain to be the only "graphic photos of spilled load" link I ever click at work.

2012-07-26 12:36:32 PM
Now we've got something to wash down the sardines and tomatoes with.

Hee, hee. Hee, hee, hee. Subby said "spilled load". That's cool.

Free Budweiser? Now that's the right price.

That's nice and all, now answer the important question, what kind of beer was it?

2012-07-26 12:50:29 PM

No, no, no. What we need are a few truckloads of steamed crabs !

Aaaaah! The humanity!

Baton Rouge once had a load of cows spilled off the elevated ramp coming from the Mississippi River Bridge. There was a playground underneath. A very tall barrier was put up after that.
