Jesus tap-dancing Christ - is this meme still going on? It wasn't funny when it started.

For me, it was always a tight race between her, #2 and Leela.

And we just started rewatching "The Key to Time."

That's right, 'cause our British friends don't periodize their title abbreviations, if the first and last letter frame said abbreviation.

FTA: Tamm, who played the first incarnation of the Doctor's companion Romana, alongside Tom Baker, died at hospital in London. Her agent Barry Langford said she had a "zest for life".

What is this Dr. Who?

Is it anything like the beloved British sci-fi dramedy, Doctor Who?

Well, I wish it was a happier thread, but I have promised to find this pic and post it in earlier Doctor Who topics, but I finally found the album and scanned it.

I loved "The Pirate Planet" and the whole Key of Time series. Romana is one of my favorite old Who companions; as a Time Lord on the same level as the Doctor, she was a great match for him.

/As I said in the previous thread, RIP Time Lady.

The issues wasn't with the city. Read the above again, and see if you can spot the problem.

Here's a hint: You can only die at once place.

I know, right?

I should have shortened the bold tags so I didn't confuse Exception Collection. Yes, I actually knew where Battersea was. I also knew that her home wasn't likely a hospital.

Even the BBC uses "Dr." on occasion: Link Link.

Hell, even the ending credits for the series gave his name as "Doctor Who" or "Dr. Who", from 1963 until 1980.

Now, if you are talking the series itself, yeah, maybe "Doctor Who" only, since it's a proper name and all, but even them I am sure there is precedent for abbreviation somewhere.

Mordee Expedition, Survey Team Six Yep. The hat is actually from a random fellow dressed as Tom Baker; he plopped it onto my head just before the photo was taken.

Lis Sladen was my favourite, and I even watched The Sarah Jane Adventures just for her, but the first Romana was my husband's first love. Not bad judgement, even as a kid.

It's funny when it's done right, and most people don't do it right, and that wasn't done right.

Yes, They Key to Time arc is certainly one of the best She played a very important part in Doctor Who. Romana was also the first female companion who was the Doctor's equal instead of a screamy girl. Yes, Even Sarah Jane, strong as she was, was a screamy girl.
I think she was the only one who could pronounce Romanadvoratrelundar, and was the only one who ever said it on screen.

It was easy to see Douglas Adams' fingerprints on that script.

Captain: (into his intercom) "All guards on alert! Someone is using a counterjamming frequency projector! Find it and destroy it immediately!"

Mr Fibuli: "Captain, do you suppose any of the guards know what a counterjamming frequency projector looks like?"

Captain: (considers this, turns back to intercom) "Destroy everything!"
