Normally, in a thread like this, I would say "It not too late for _______ to star in porn." But sadly, in this case, I think it is.

Get a farking chauffeur already and stop terrorizing other motorists,Lindsay!

It seems as if she and Darwin are in a never ending Road Runner/ Wile E. Coyote sort of dance...

I wonder if a normal non-famous person living in a typical state would still have their driver's license with her record.

2012-07-26 08:49:12 AM
Why does she even have a driving license?

2012-07-26 08:54:07 AM
I'm sure her auto insurance company loves her. Her premium must be INSANE!

That's not even a particularly racy Porsche -- too much car.

/Or too little brains.
//Perhaps a K-car would be more appropriate.

No farking way that she was driving the SAME RENTED PORSCHE.
Are you asking me to believe that a body shop could repair a car in less than a month? That's a lie.

I don't understand why rich people want to drive their own cars. It's one thing if I am actually going for a drive, but if I am just trying to get around town to various appointments I'd love to have a car just swing around and pick me up everywhere I go. Especially in a city.

Did you guys see all the Chanel and other shopping bags in her car? Also, she wears a different outfit everyday. How does this biatch still have money? I seems like she should have run out a long time ago, considering her blow and shopping habit.

She just did Playboy. They pay pretty well, I hear, for their celebrity pictorials.

From TFA, "'Lindsay was NOT driving dangerously." Years ago, I had a nice Illinois State Policeman explain to me that running into another car from behind was prima facie evidence of driving dangerously. You're following too closely, you're driving inattentively, you're driving too fast for conditions,...or maybe you're distracted flipping off the county sheriff driving the other direction, Whatever happens, it's pretty much going to be your fault. One of the few things that seems to trump that is if the other car has failed to yield or stop at an intersection, etc. and pulls in front of you.

Put a windshield in front of her apparently.

Also, this: it was parked on the curb outside of the Chateau Marmont, where Lindsay has been staying for several months.

Even I know that the Chateau Marmont is a very ritzy old Hollywood establishment that likes to brag about all the stars who've stayed there over the years. According to a quick Google, this place starts at $450 a night rooms. And you know she has a "suite" or a "cottage" or maybe even a "bungalow" ($2200/night to start.)

It's hopeless--LL has the common sense of a turnip. And you know that the motel has been letting her run up a huge tab while staying there, just to bank on her notoriety. (She's known for NOT paying her bills.) Maybe they're hoping she'll die while she's there, giving them another juicy story about the Chateau Marmot.

I've got my CDL. I'd take that chauffeur gig in a heart-beat. Just for the leftover blow, and the sloppy seconds, (or thirds) at 3AM.

Yeah, according to celebritynetworth.com, she is worth $1.4 million. That isn't much, considering her supposed lifestyle.

Too lazy to look it up this morning, but IIRC, after the last accident, after she claimed it was a mechanical failure, Porsche sent some of their people to inspect the car and called total bullshiat on her.

This much is sure, the way she treats German luxury cars, one can assume a lot of her ancestors died in WW2.

I so very much agree. And as a former resident of SoCal, I wished even then with my pathetic salary that someone else would drive me around Hollywood and Beverly Hills. I hated, hated the drivers there.

/also, parking police in Hollywood are masters at ticketing when you're one minute over

OK, I've had my drives license since I was 17, and have been driving occasionally without one since I was 12. I'll be 51 in a few months and I've never hit anything with a car. I've logged roughly 600,000 miles in that time. I've been hit from behind maybe 5 times in that time, all minor, and all in the last 12 years. None of which were my fault or required a call to the police since there was no damage to my Wrangler, and the cars that hit me wanted to avoid insurance entaglements.

I know its not just me.

Now, being as she still looks a bit younger then I am, I'd still rear end her if given the chance.

In response to PsyLord's post: are there countries where you have to have auto insurance to rent a car?? A Thunderboy pointed out, not in the US or Canada, and I can verify that it isn't needed in Italy, France, or Switzerland, but it did make me wonder.

It's been a while since I last rented a car, but I do recall the paperwork and being recommended to take the extra insurance (if I recall right, something like 20$, not sure per day or for the whole time of the rental) otherwise I'd be stuck footing the repairs if I were to get into an accident and be at fault.

Correct. You either have to purchase their insurance or supply your own. If you take their insurance, however, I'm not sure that they check your driving record to calculate a rate.

I went and looked it up (in Canada)... and well, wow... there's a LOT of optional securities, each adding about 10$ per day for each...so a rental of a cheap/small car at around 40$ per day, can easily double.

Damage Waiver: between $8.99 and $29.99 per day.
Personal Accident Insurance / Personal Effects Coverage (PAI/PEC): between $5.00 and $11.00 per day.
Supplemental Liability Protection (SLP): between $9.99 and $15.50 per day.
Roadside Assistance Protection: $3.99 / day Canadian Dollars

After reading all this, I'd really think twice about renting a car.

Given the number of people in PA and FL who have more than a dozen DUIs and still are allowed to drive, yes.

/some people just move from state to state when they finally get their license taken away.
