Apos: azkaevolution: love me the indian girls...so much that i dated one for 3 years and i'm marrying another one (harder than it seems to pull off. you try prying one away from the indian norm of marrying only other indians). but this lil morsel is quite fine to look at...

Pictorial evidence of this purported beauty is absent....Rectify that, please. :)

Translation: Post pics of your fiance I can masturbate to.

It seems like that norm gets waived if the guy is Indian (well, Indian-American) and the woman is Jewish. Two friends of mine had a HinJew wedding a couple of weeks ago, and I'm going to a different HinJew wedding this weekend.

Although I'm wondering if there's a confounding variable there with education level. This weekend it's an MBA and a JD, and the other was two PhDs.

Persis Khambatta (Star Trek) was willing to appear in Playboy but not nude, so Hefner didn't let her appear at all.

Jimmy Carter and Truman Capote appeared in Playboy not nude.

Jim_Callahan: nd western fashion involves darkening the eyes (liner) and skin (tanning). Fashion makes no goddamned sense anywhere, you'll be happier if you just learn to live with it.

Darkening the eyes actually does make sense (it highlights recessed eyes, probably a better option for defense of your vision). Tanning is at least supposed to indicate a healthy level of activity in an otherwise increasingly sedentary culture (as opposed to prior centuries where pasty was in because it indicated you had the resources so you didn't have to work). So much of what we do is driven by these kind of instinctual drives, but some fashion trends just make you wonder what drug the fashion designer was on at the time..
