The plot begins when Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk drop by the hometown of Phineas and Ferb to track down the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz, who took away all their superpowers.

I can understand Spider-Man and Thor, but what superpower does Iron Man have? And wouldn't Hulk losing his superpower mean he is just Bruce Banner. I mean his sheer size/weight would make him a beast anyway.

/Why yes, I am being intentionally nitpicky, and in all honesty don't care
//Phineas & Ferb is awesome

I can see it now:

Isabella: Whatcha doooing?
Wolverine: I'm doing what I do best bub?

Hulk smashs Phineas and Ferb's invention before mother gets home. And I could see Tony hiring the brothers for projects.

They're jerking off to them. Which is probably true, for some of them, but also probably won't make it into this episode.

It's probably a slippery slope that will lead to things like Moses Magnum showing up on "A.N.T. Farm" or something, but I love me some Marvel and "Phineas and Ferb" so I'm willing to at least have an open mind about it. Hell "Archie vs. Punisher" wasn't half-bad.

I caught an episode of "Ultimate Spider Man" a few weeks ago. Regular cast members include Nova, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and a couple of other nifty characters. This episode had Dr Strange. So, for the magic to work, Spidey.... HAD TO BELIEVE.

The Disneyification of Marvel is clearly in progress.

Hey, where's Petey?

SpartacusHobbs: Marvel superheroes coming on Disney Princesses.

Here's your creepy thought of the day (well, another one). Somewhere, in some vault or archive or whatever at Disney studios, are detailed drawings and instructions on how to draw the breasts of Disney Princesses. Disney has taken pains to standardize the looks they present with these characters, to better exploit their "Princess" line of products, so in just about anything you see with Princesses in it, they look pretty much the same and - and this is where it gets really creepy - seem to have breast development that roughly corresponds with their ages. Cinderella, Aurora and Belle seem to be older and more mature, Snow White is very young, Jasmine and Ariel are definitely in the "perky and pointing up" stage, etc.

At some point, a junior Disney animator has been chastised by superiors for drawing Ariel's breasts "too saggy" or Cinderella's "not teardrop enough".

/Yes, I may have spent way too much time staring at a Disney Princess poster while trying to potty train my girls

There was an episode of Ultimate Spider Man that featured Thor turned into a frog by Loki.

Right after it was an episode of The Avengers that had Beta Ray Bill taking Thor's hammer.

Neither episode mentioned Walt Simonson in the credits. :-\

It is getting pretty painful.

Thankfully, Marvel was always kinda meh in the animation department and it isn't that big of a lost.

Now if Disney got its mitts on DC and tried this then I would have to start cracking skulls.

Phineas & Ferb is great until you realize that not only is every single episode exactly the same but that the writers have known this for at least a year.

of course they know. my favourite episode was the Cave man episode where no one spoke English but you still knew exactly what was going on and line for line what they were saying.

I hate to nit-pick but....I actually love to nitpick. Spidey didn't have to "believe" to overcome Nightmare, he had to realize that nightmares aren't real and that when we wake up, they don't matter. His lack of belief only played into how Strange got taken down. He wins when he understands that Nightmare's power is completely based on something unsubstantial.

\Yes, in the process he learns a valuable lesson about magic being real in the Marvel universe, but still.

My favorite was the one where they swapped roles but it was otherwise the same. Phineas built an "inator". Then it cuts to D.E.I. headquarters and the giant robot says "Whatcha dooooin?" to Doofenschmirtz.
