Don't get me wrong, I wanted desperately to share baby gravy with her back then, but looking back now she's a bit of a domineering biatch. Nothing wrong with being strong or opinionated, but I seem to recall her being a bit controlling, and jumping for every little cause that came up regardless of how silly or minor it was.

Lisa was a stuck up shallow rich girl who wouldn't have anything to do with people that she considered "beneath" her.

Kelly wasn't as much of a biatch, but again, shallow, a bit of a tease, and fickle.

dr.zaeus: rickycal78: TheNyquilKid: Flappyhead: Where is the episode when Jessie, Kelly and Lisa had that pillow fight while showering? Or was that just some adolescent dream I had once?

Why was Jessie in that dream?

Because out of all of them she had the best body back then, followed by Lisa then Kelly. Granted her character was a bit of a biatch, but then again all the female characters on that show were.

I don't care about the coochflap. I was a teen when that movie came out and when I finally did manage to see it after fantasizing about miss Berkley all those years when I was younger, I fapped till I chafed.

freaking loved that show! I'd watch it every day after school. I remember once it was coming on and I wasn't quite done with my homework. I was racing to finish my math problems when the theme song came on. I wasn't even caring at that point if i was answering them correctly. Then, commercials! I was never so happy for commercials to be on after the opening credits. Relief! I could finish my last math problem and still check my answers. Book it, done!

While I was disappointed that Tiffany would not be taking on such a role, I settled for Elizabeth. I, too, suffered the Rusty Venture.

The purposeful exclusion of "Jesse's Song" in this list is an injustice.

It's literally the first thing that anyone references when SBTB was mentioned.

Same here.

I remember being upset that I was going to have to miss an "important" episode one Saturday morning because I had a soccer game at the same time.

I sound gay.

It's okay. Kids are pretty farkin' gay. They get upset over stupid, gay things. Don't beat yourself up, we've all been there.

Slaves2Darkness: championgoober: My sister and I lived for this show every weekend. It was gold back in the day.

NeoCortex42: The two "message" episodes I never seem to forget:
1) I'm so excited!, obviously
2) Oil is found on campus and there's a spill.

Regardless of how poorly the show may hold up over time, it was must-see TV for me back in the day. Even back to the "Good Morning, Miss Bliss" episodes. Even "The College Years" was alright for its short run.

Fark "The New Class", though. That was just pointless.

You people actually watched this crap? Ah hell I always thought it was some weird money losing tax write off for the studio. I mean how else could you explain a canned school sitcom so bad it made The Facts of LIfe look good?

For my age group, it was a hit because we were too young to recognize cheesy cliches and bad writing. Same with Full House, It filled a niche. But the people who grew up and still claim it was a good show deserve to be shamed and mocked.

Two for inclusion on this list.

1. The Palm Beach Wedding Episode with Jesse competing weirdly with her future Step-Mother.
2. The Hawaiian Vacation Episode where they have to suddenly save Kelly's Grandparent's hotel from greedy corporate slime.

Two things:

One) I was in jr. high when this show first aired. Is it wrong that when I come across reruns of it I take my pants off?
Two) Anyone else notice this: they have no problem with showing jailbait side boob or finding any excuse to put the girls into bikini tops, but why all the farking mom jeans? I don't think there was ever a single episode that showed a girl's belly button, but in the Malibu Sands episodes, Kelly's life guard suit is so tight you can see her head lights.

srhp29: rickycal78: Hell I used to watch He-Man, Transformers, M.A.S.K, and loved them.

That's what always cracks me up about people that see a Transfomers movie and expect it to be some farking masterpiece. The movies are all better than the cartoon was. (original Transformers series anyway...not sure about the later once such as Beast Wars)

I have to partially. disagree here, the show is by no means good, but I still think it holds up better then any of the movies. Never got to preachy, sure the action is kinda bad, but that was the animation at the time. But at least the show was about the Transformers, not stupid-ass kid and some occasionally giant robots. i can however, see merit at least an inkling of merit in the first movie.

Now, the GI Joe show... yeeesh. Once you get past the first two five part mini-series and into the third, it just takes an amazingly wild crap all over its self. Then the stand alone episodes will make you actively dumber. And i have no idea why but I love Rise of Cobra despite the fact that it's pure shiate.

Also, Sbtb sucked then and it sucks now.

rickycal78: NeoCortex42: It also helps that being young means having lower standards for entertainment. Hell, I used to love watching Perfect Strangers. I watched an episode last year for the first time since the show was new and, oh dear God. That show does not hold up well.

Hell I used to watch He-Man, Transformers, M.A.S.K, and loved them. I decided to try and re-watch some of that stuff on Netflix just for the hell of it. Well, let's just say they haven't held up well and some of the cartoons back in the day were actually downright preachy with their lesson learned bit at the end of the episode.

I used to love "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper." Watched it recently, and definitely did not hold up well either. I was actually surprised by how effeminate Mr. Cooper really was. NTTAWWT, just that it never stood out at the time.

I've actually been watching Beast Wars on netflix this past week, the dialogue is obviously written for kids but it still holds up pretty well. GI Joe not so much...

I picked up the Exo Squad season 1 dvd recently and it's just as good if not better than I remember it being.

Uh, because at the time "mom's jeans" were all the rage?

Hint: They weren't branded "mom's jeans" until after the fact. Like 10/15 years later in some SNL episode.

That's the way jeans were cut back then. Low-rise jeans didn't come into fashion till the late '90s.

Yeah, when you're a kid, your tastes are pretty shiatty. I was in probably 5th or 6th grade when I started watching it and I liked it. I liked Full House, too, and I'll still watch it if I'm in the mood for something cheesy from my childhood.
