No, I just said you;re NOT a bigot. You hate everyone. Not that everyone is a member of all of those groups; I'm none of those things. But hating someone simply for being Christian, Muslim, Jewish or Republican, even if they're perfectly nice people is just hateful. I personally judge individuals by their actions, so that many people are indeed a**holes, but they cross all spectra.

That's why the popular conception of Native American people is nomadic, because the sedentary people were wiped out by disease. That, however, absolutely does not excuse our treatment of the survivors.

I actually knew that. Nevertheless, the remaining people were here first and the people stealing the land may or may not have known or cared about that disease.

You just described me in my first years of college, except for the fat part (thanks to an awesome metabolism). Things changed after I moved out of my parents house, made real friends, and came out of the closet.

I have some of LaVey's satanism books. They're quite entertaining, really.

What LaVey did was use Rand (and Nietzsche) to shape a personal religious doctrine. LaVey never said in any of his writings that a government or an economic system should be run that way. The Church refused to go tax-exempt, and believes that all churches should pay taxes. As with most things, the Church of Satan is the opposite of Christian Evangelicals, and is fiercely apolitical. However, the CoS is "atheist", in that they don't believe in any supernatural creator god. They worship the carnal ego. So as applied to one's personal life, the CoS is like Objectivism. But LaVeyan Satanists would have been far too romantic for Rand's taste.
