She's such an inspiration, a woman who was able to fly almost all the way around the world while completely blind. Proof that passion and dedication will get you anywhere. Well, except out of a concentration camp, those places suck. Happy birthday, Amelia.

Damn Nazi's, they bomb Pearl Harbor and now this.

2012-07-24 09:46:32 AM
For the love of Glob. Why is this woman is so news worthy all of a sudden? She's like the ultimate embodiment of the participation trophy.

2012-07-24 09:48:49 AM
Don't forget the Nobel prize she won for discovering radium.

2012-07-24 09:49:40 AM
It's possible she's still alive. Wouldn't that be some shiat?

She's in the Delta Quadrant with the other 37's. Everybody knows this, why are we wasting more money?

Very true. You'd think that at one of those camps, being blind, deaf and all, she'd be able to think hard enough that they'd just let her out.

Didn't she crash on an iceburg?

Are you serious? Look at this woman's achievements:
- escaped the Nazis on the back of a motorcycle with Steve McQueen
- flew a Lockheed Electra all the way to that island where the cannibals had their culinary school
- discovered radium
- invented AC current just to piss off Alexander Graham Bell

So STFU and GBTW.

Still no cure for cancer.

Wait a minute. . . connect the dots here. Big Pharma is big. Earhart died mysteriously. No cure for cancer. Why, it all makes sense. Earhart died because she was about to make me a sammich while I was working on a cure for cancer but Big Pharma destroyed the fridge and she committed suicide in grief.

Amelia Earhart was needed. She was called to a higher purpose. Just know that you sleep safe in your bed everynight because of her bravery in the swamps of Planet X.

Marilyn Monroe has been dead my entire life, and I'm hardly young. Last week she adorned for the googleplex time a major magazine cover. Stop...the...madness. Find living women to objectify, Mass Media.
