Beteljuice! Beteljuice! Beteljuice! Yeah, I see it.

Don't be stupid subby. Everybody knows Batman is black.

stoli n coke: No, back in the day, Charles Whitman pulled off a very similar killing spree. There were also race-related lynchings, domestic violence against women went mostly unreported, and pedophiles could escape justice by simply moving one town over.

I hate these morons who think the Andy Griffith show was a goddamn documentary.

Yeah, but that poster was a child largely shielded from all the stresses of the world, to be able to post with that nostalgia as an adult.

Assuming you come from a bog-standard middle-class home with no abuse issues, the world was always simpler and more pure when you were 10. "Back in the day" nearly always boils down to "when I was old enough to get some freedom to roam with my friends but still have no worries about supporting myself or any clue about the larger problems of the world." Doesn't matter what the actual year is.

Jeez, God, way to spike the football.

I was hoping this thread would lead to the invention of a game called "Angel or Batman?" Where people comment with unexplained events, and then everybody takes a guess as to whether the responsible party is an angel or Batman.

Example: I lost my wallet, but someone turned it over the the police without stealing anything. Angel or Batman?

Everyone is missing the obvious. The angel was there on time acting through Holmes to stop these heathens from worshipping the "Goddamn Batman".

Precision Boobery: "Here's another question I've been pondering - what is all this shiat about angels? Have you heard this? Three out of four people believe in angels. What are you, farking stupid? Has everyone lost their farking mind?

You know what I think it is? I think it's a massive, collective, psychotic chemical flashback for all the drugs smoked, swallowed, shot, and absorbed rectally by all Americans from 1960 to 1990 2012. Thirty Fifty-two years of adulterated street drugs will get you some farking angels, my friend!"

Clockwork Kumquat: I see a giant mouth puking on the theater.

Oh all right, since all the cool kids are doing it...

I see a vaguely humanoid figure with wings instead of arms. My Monstrous Manual tells me that's a harpy, not an angel.

Looks like a Muslim angel to me!

The My Little Pony Killer: ThatGuyGreg: Yeah, I don't see it.

24 hours later me too.
