To be fair, in the last 2 Batman trilogies, only the Joker has been a major villain twice. Two-Face counts, but that was more for story arc than him as a villain

And Catwoman. And Bane.

I had my basis covered. Catwoman is not really a villain in this last one. Bane is ONLY in TDKR. Yep, he's definitely ONLY in that one....

I don't know what that picture is. That is most definitely someone who is a cosplayer

De Nile ain't just a river in Egypt, pal.

/I do sympathize tho
//it was physically painful posting that pic

I know what you mean. After releasing a semi-decent soundtrack, it was disappointing and painful that they canceled the movie release.

verbaltoxin: Cloudchaser Sakonige the Red Wolf: I don't get why anyone would live in a city like Metropolis, Gotham, New York City, etc. As if pent up city life trapped like a duck in a pen isn't bad enough, some supervillan is always trying to destroy it.

It could be worse. You could live in Hub City, the comic book analog to East St. Louis. Their only superhero is the Question, and once he saves you he's going to lecture you on Objectivism for a half hour.

It can get worse than that. In South Park Colorado, the only superhero is Captain Hindsight and all he does is tell after the fact what could have been done to prevent a disaster

Supes: Mugato: Damn. They must not be too impressive if they use the same 7 or 8 for the movies.

There's a ton of pretty good lesser-known villains that could be used in Batman movies, that for whatever reason haven't. Blame movie studios looking for marketability I think.

Just to name a few: Calender Man (Long Halloween version, of course), Hush, Hugo Strange, Deadshot, Clayface, Zsasz, Dr. Hurt.....

We also desperately need a live-action Harley Quinn next time Joker is featured in a movie.

ok, I don't think anybody would go see a movie if they knew the villain was going to be named Calendar Man. Hugo Strange and Clayface would play out pretty well. I was truly surprised that The Dark Knight didn't have Harley Quinn.

How about a Batgirl vs. Harley Quinn movie set in the Christian Bale universe? With Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Nightwing? If they made that, I wouldn't even leave the theater if there was a crazy guy shooting at me.

I don't know, if DC just said "You know what, instead of rebooting we are just going to do one-off major stories", you could talk me into a Calendar Man heavy Long Halloween.

Someone brought up just doing era/style movies every three years: Dark Knight Returns; Year One; Brave/Bold; Batman/Superman teamup; Batman Beyond; and maybe a camp one. At worst you are probably getting a 300 million return and if one stinks, you remind people about the next one being a new style

Well to be fair, Zsasz was in one of the batman movies, I think it was begins, but I'm unsure.

Look for crazy inmate with a knife, he was listed as Zsasz

"Zsasz appears briefly in the 2005 film Batman Begins, portrayed by Tim Booth (the vocalist of British band James).[10] In the movie, Assistant District Attorney Rachel Dawes states that Zsasz butchers citizens for the mob and is one of Carmine Falcone's thugs. He is sent to Arkham Asylum, but escapes during Ra's al Ghul's attack on Gotham, and nearly attacks Dawes and a child she is protecting. Zsasz is revealed to have remained at large in one of the promotional websites for The Dark Knight.[11] His last name is spelled "Zsaz" in this continuity."
