styckx: ontariolightning: So whats the story of Litas departure from the wwe?
i know it was on bad terms and the fans abandoned her
i just dont know what led to that

anyone know?

She was dating Matt and farking Edge behind his back and it went public. They made it a on screen angle, then WWE let Matt Hardy go and the fans would harass the fark out of Lita on the way to the ring, during her matches and even in public calling her all sorts of awful shiat and blaming her for Matt Hardy getting fired. So she left

This was before alcoholic Matt Hardy right? I remember Lita and Edge angle bit didnt know
she was actually farking Edge. I was sure Edge was married to hos high school sweetheart

Y'know, I think at this point, Lita would be welcomed back. Edge is beloved, and Matt Hardy is a joke. All is right with the world.

I still thought that she retired due to injuries, though.

You don't have to hide until we are all Vince'd out. Just run in and yell "IMPANTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS"

We'll all be good to go with that.

Haha. I'll have to remember that for next week. Had to PVR it, so was playing catchup all night.

Looks like Steph had a reduction though. Didn't look as big as a few years back.

Also, did the others just quit the threads? I asked early but I'm guessing no word means less people around

Yeah, Matt was out with a blown knee. He was off the road. While he was, apparently Edge was having marriage problems, and at that point, E&C and The Hardys were very close on the road. Edge and Lita started hanging out together, and riding to events...eventually they banged. Dumas came clean to Matt, and at that point, Matt was on thin ice at WWE mainly b/c his brother was a fark up, and also he was just a bland character.

So Matt did what Matt does, goes crying to the internet. He told the world what happened, and was promptly fired...then he blamed the firing on what happened. He become a stupid "avenging angel" gimmick he was running around the indies with. At that point Vince wanted Edge to go full a-hole heel, and they used the story to turn Lita and have her join Edge.

But the fans still ran her into the ground about Matt. Eventually they rehired Matt, solely because arenas were chanting his name during the Edge/Lita segments. Edge and Matt did an angle based off of it, but Matt was such a boring character that the fans lost interest and Matt was moved to Smackdown.

After Dumas went out with a knee injury, she was still getting crap from the fans. She decided to call it quits because she couldn't take all the name calling, especially all the crap she got in public (as an wrestling fan, you have to admit that there are some a-hole fans that don't know when to turn the switch off).

I miss her...I know she is a bit of a butter face, but I've always liked her, and her doing a shooting star press after not really wrestling for 5 years is still pretty impressive.

IIRC, there was one infamous promo that should have been IT, that should have catapulted Hardy to main event status, sold the angle, and just made everything, but Hardy sucked so bad that it just didn't do the job.

And that's why he was soon dropped down to midcard status while Edge got his first world championship.

during the D-X segment? I doubt we'll see Chyna.. but I can see that as a good thing

X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws joined DX the night after Michaels jobbed the belt to Austin and missed the next 4 years, so no.

No wonder arenas are dead no matter who shows up these days. They are either spending half the time on their phone while the show is on, or when they are home, exhausted from Twatting, Facebooking, Touting, texting and Farking...

Social networking and wrestling exhaustion.

Last night, among this thread, the one in Japan, Twitter and the show, my brain was fried. Every time I looked up at the TV, I seriously saw King or Cole shilling something. The whole five or six wrestling matches that happened didn't capture my interest in any way. I've never been so underwhelmed by an Undertaker appearance. Likewise for a CM Punk-John Cena match. Those two can usually bring the best out of each other, and that whole thing was just way off note. Big Show was an unneeded addition to it. That DQ finish was so 2000 WCW also.

People are stoked that they might see the first, good CM Punk promo in 13 months, but that's not worth three hours of shilling and squash matches to me. Last night was way too long. To whoever said they didn't even have enough material for two, much less stretch it to three hours, you get a wizard hat.

I don't even want the wizard hat either. It has to be wizardry to warrant it. But here's what's going to happen:

- Heath Slater will get squashed
- Santino will shill but not actually wrestle
- The Rainbow Coalition of tag teams will have a pointless, three minute match
- Ziggler will say or do something cool and lose anyway
- The Miz will make his stupid duckface
- They'll reference the Rock 20 times but he won't be there
- John Cena will show up the first time around 10 pm ET
- The CM Punk/Cena angle will be as much about Big Show as it is the two, key wrestlers
- AJ will not do anything remotely interesting as GM
- Daniel Bryan will become a midcard joke in a feud with Charlie Sheen
- They won't even bother with a divas match
- Ryder will get another "blink and you'll miss it" cameo
- TRIPLE H STOOD UP FOR HIS FAMILY HE WON'T BE BULLIED BY THE BALD MAN HE OUTWEIGHS BY 100 LBS!
- And finally if Punk even bothers to cut a promo, it will work the smarks with some inside references so the wrestle blogs can go, OMFG DID HE WORK OR SHOOT?! Even though it's wrestling so it's ALL A WORK, 100% OF THE TIME.

/As a side note, that altercation at the airport that NOBODY can independently confirm outside a few tweets by Punk himself and some other WWE wrestlers? It's called "a work." You are being worked on Twitter, Tout, Facebook, Youtube - it doesn't matter. Pro wrestling never left the carnival.

Agreeed with most everything you said.

TNA:

-Aces & Eights is more then likely the way to push Jeff Jarrett and a few new faces that will be left to drift because Hogan has nothing for them.
-AJ Styles is not the father.
-Paralyze a guy? Push him to the moon, brother. I mean, it's an accident and wasn;t a terrible move. I don;t think Ion is a criminal or something. He's just so AVERAGE. The ONLY reason he gets a push for the X-D title is he crippled a guy for a while and, as mentioned, everything HAS to be a work right?
-Austin Aries is great as a heel and generic and lame as a face. See: CM Punk
-Bully Ray will cut a "I'm from New YOAK, so shuddup" promo for the 1000th time with his fat body and sexy calves
-Old WCW People. Old WCW People everywhere...
-Hogans. LOTS OF HOGANS
-Seriously, if there wasn't the BFG series and Bobby Roo, the show would be as bas as Raw.
-They're Knocouts divison is lame. A sore sight better then the non-exsistant Diva's division. That's damning with faint praise.
-The fat guy who ate Taz, Al Snow and Brother love using smark sayings for 30 minutes, then deciding the fate of a wrestler.

The OUTSTANDING part of TNA right now is the BFG Series. I am very excited and interested in that. Bobby Roo is a great heel as well.

So when the BFG series goes away, what do they have? Bobby Roo.

Maybe I should watch Chikara. Because Mondays and Thursdays seem lame now.

Can a guy dream?

Velvet Sky has either finished or will be finishing up with TNA Wrestling shortly, according to numerous sources within the organization. One source noted Monday night that she is "as gone as can be without having pen to paper."

Her status with the organization has been tenuous for several weeks, although she's been in negotiations for a new contract. However, many believe she is on her way out of the company.

Sky last appeared for TNA at a BaseBrawl event in Memphis, Tennessee on July 14. She is presently booked for a Legends of the Ring convention in Monroe, New Jersey the same weekend that TNA holds its annual Bound for Glory festivities.

Sky is one of the most popular females in TNA and has been with the company since the advent of the Knockouts division in October 2007. A former Knockouts and Knockouts Tag Team Champion, she was recent cast in a Montgomery Gentry music video through the company.

Her former "Beautiful People" mate, Angelina Love, also recently left the promotion.

I know Sky and Love would really enjoy the big jump in pay from TNA, but they have to know that Vince doesn't give two shiats about women's wrestling.

Since he's out of options in burying competitor's male wrestlers (he will sign and use them because his roster lacks talent), he has taken to signing big name women wrestlers, to bury them...then promptly go back to his set of dead lifts.

Since he's out of options in burying competitor's male wrestlers (he will sign and use them because his roster lacks talent), he has taken to signing big name women wrestlers, to bury them...then promptly go back to his set of dead lifts.

Velvet Sky vs. Beth Phoneix? I could fap to that.

Jim from Saint Paul: FinFangFark: Can a guy dream?

With 3 hours coming to Raw full time...and it being obvious they don't have enough compelling content to fill it, why not give the Divas more time? Sign Love and Sky...and let the Divas just prance out there and stink it up for 10 minutes. Hell, fit a commercial in there, so the match lasts for 13 minutes...add a recap before the match for back story, and a recap of the match after the match, there's 16 minutes...a quarter hour taken up!

Brilliant!

You know who I have a hard time finding? People who actually like Ring of Honor, and not the old stuff from 2005.

I'm not fappin' twice. I'm not a machine >:|

Jim from Saint Paul: -Seriously, if there wasn't the BFG series and Bobby Roo, the show would be as bas as Raw.

Gotta say I agree with this. The only thing I wished I saw last night was APA. I saw a gif of Slater getting murdered by JBLadshaw which i'll try to add later if nobody else has by tonight.

Sorry i'm going to miss the return of heel Punk, but with this whole tout thing I can see it leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Still enjoy reading reactions and threads.

You would love my 2 older borthers then. They snap up everything RoH. At least a dozen DVDs I can remember watching with them. They are who got me into wrasslin in the first place and they consider Punk and DBD to be gods. They will prob even watch TNA now that AA has the belt there (and now that it seems Viacom and DirectTV have ended their pissing match).

You are my new hero for making that!

/heel punk IS best punk

And you, sir, have my thanks for making the badge for tonight.

I think someone could have done a better job with it but thank you. As for "sir" maybe you didn't see my belt, lulz

My bad. You are now highlighted in pink with "Heel Punk is Best Punk". Sorry about that, ma'am.

No biggie. "There is no such thing as girls on the internet" has been my rallying cry for some years now. Pink is not my first choice but if it works for you then it's cool by me. LOVE the tag though, Heel Punk IS Best Punk! I had you tagged as "Awesome PS" after seeing that pic, lulz

Heel Punk?! REALLY?! Ummmm pass, total pass. Not because Heel Punk wouldn't be awesome.

Vince at this point is like someone that hasn't eaten for a month; one day, a goose comes from out of nowhere and falls within eyesight. As he's just about to kill it for dinner, the goose pops out 3 golden eggs.

Now, the reasonable person would see this, find a way to keep the goose locked up, cash in the eggs so he can eat and keep the goose happy so that the goose would keep popping out golden eggs. But Vince, in his infinite wisdom, would kill the goose anyway and use the eggs for breakfast the next morning.

I'm convinced that you could somehow bring 80s Hogan to today and Vince would job him out to Santino.

Jim from Saint Paul: robsul82: Jesus. Punk's back as a heel who doesn't care for anything more than the belt and it's STILL time to farking complain. Chill out.

Want to know what's sad Rob? We are mortal sports enemies and we are all alone on our attitudes about this and TNA.

The enemy you know...

Funny how that works out.

And yeah, that IS frustrating. Punk wins the twitter poll and gets picked by the mark crowd last night over Cena? Fark you! lol #1 face in perpetuity rules all. But let's see what next week gives us. Let's see if Punk even is a heel and not a tweener. Let's just see.

robsul82: Let's see if Punk even is a heel and not a tweener.

No tweener Punk. Someone mentioned that only faces were titleholders and, honestly, I didn't notice until that was mentioned. The Miz returning was a good start, but Punk should be a full fledged heel because he's good at it.

Wait, you all said The Rock is going to fight the champ at RR... CM Punk is the champ and going heel... I dunno if i'll be able to stay away from that. Dammit Vince.

Turns out Stone Cold had major knee surgery earlier this month, and because he didn't want to limp down to the ring on crutches, he decided not to be at RAW.

Logical.
