That was a fun game to watch and nice to see them still win even after kimbrel gave up a run.

Oh and they were known for come from behind wins in the 91 and 92 seasons, Cincinnati comes to mind in 91 after trailing by 7 runs then hitting a HR off dibble, a guy some people thought was unhittable.

Great video on it here: Link

Down 9-0 in the 5th, score 10 unanswered. Incredible.

If you made a list of all the games this season where Atlanta was down big to a great pitcher, then fought back and finally took a one-run lead in the ninth, only to see Kimbrel blow the lead, but then Atlanta turned around and won it in the 11th, this game would rank as the second most exciting.

I gave up on that game at the pho place. Saw them get two more runs at the next bar, and then saw them win at the brewpub. It was a great night.

I also saw this hipster get into it with an annoying Aussie. I couldn't decide who I wanted to lose.

Are you sure you aren't thinking of venters blowing games? The only game I can think if is the reason pastornicky and his lack of range is no longer starting but that game was close and the braves seemed to be in the game. The game last night seemed gone and even after scoring 4-5 it seemed like a loss, at least until chippers single that the drunk guy behind home plate thought was an out. Its one of the classic fans cheering only to end up with a "Nooooooo!"

Yeah thats the one I mean too, pastornicky my be a good utility guy but his range at SS is not great, if Simmons had been here all year I would bet they had at least 5 more wins with his range and ability.

They at least acted like they were in that game while last night it seemed like they didn't even show up.

Don't most Atlanta teams wait until the first round of the post-season to choke?

That game pissed me off. Thought the Nats had it in the bag, changed channels, came back to that. Damn.

/Zimmerman just took out the ump during a nice play at the plate. Funny stuff.

Nevermind. 5-1 Detroit. Porcello is still pitching really good, though.
