I would have gone with a Madagascar the movie joke. It seems fitting with the lemurs and all.

Just 30 billion dollars, that's all I want. Buy a few tropical islands, some vast tracts of Texas. Populate the former with critically endangered tropical species, the latter with savanna species.

A man can dream.

That's "Turner" as in "Ted Turner." You can hate his guts if you want, but the man is rich enough that he just buys the land and does what he wants with it anyway. And what he wants is habitat and wildlife conservation.

I don't hate him at all. What he does for wildlife in our country, (subsidized by hunting) is extremely admirable.

Gentleman we have a winner!

/What do you win?
//The article, so you can read it and find out that they're blaming a complete breakdown of the law due to a coup that has lead to unrestricted logging, burning of forests for charcoal, and unrestricted lemur hunting.
///Thanks for trying though, and enjoy the article.

I didn't mean "you" specifically--but I do know that a lot of people love to hate on old Ted.

Many of these countries don't realize the economic benefits of having such unique biodiversity. Eco-tourism is getting bigger and bigger every year and Madagascar would stand to be one of the premier locations on earth.
