The French are crazy.

They are not French, they are Quebecois. And they're awesome. (Although I will agree with the idea that they can't drive for shiat.)

They didn't sound Canadian to me.

Please note that this is obviously an experienced, alert bike rider and a typical car driver.
If the guy on the bike hadn't been paying attention, he'd have been seriously injured.
