Remember kids: you're not really free until you can act as a vigilante and shoot an unarmed black kid

Remember kids: you're not really free until you can masturbate in a porno theater without police checking in

I read the headline and thought it was some kind of MMO market place to get the best weapons in Diablo 3 or something...and then things got weird.

I'm still not entirely convinced the entire thing is not crawling with various law enforcement and intelligence agency badges, but scary none the less.

I'm pretty sure it is. If Gizmodo knows about it, chances are, every freakin' law enforcement agency on the planet also knows about it.

Of course, knowing about it and being able to do something about it are two entirely different things, and these guys seem to have their anonymity cranked up to "Never been born" levels.

Well it's all super-anon, but at some point you have to give somebody an address, and I'd be too paranoid to do that unless I lived somewhere with a government that didn't have a track record of baiting people into illegal acts via the internet.

I never said we were really free or said we should be absolutely free. Anarchy is bad and civilizations need rules.

Would not buy anything from that place, no matter how bad I wanted to overthrow a tin-pot dictator. Easier, safer and cheaper to go to Africa and buy 1000 AKs.

Most people just want to live their lives. I don't see the point of locking down society on the assumption that everyone is automatically going to dive down to the lowest common denominator and stay there the moment you repeal seatbelt safety laws.

Because what everyone does effects everyone else, and so it matters what other people do. Because of that, it matters to make sure people can't harm others. I don't TRUST people to do the right thing, and when they do the wrong thing, it can hurt me.

I know a pharmacy down the street that sells narcotics to people with prescriptions that turn around and sell it on the streets. Oh...the people with the RX are getting it for 2 bucks and sometimes free because they are on medicaid. And that shiat KILLS PEOPLE and DESTROYS FAMILIES.

Therefore...we should make narcotics and RX medication ILLEGAL to own or posses without the proper RX or paperwork. Problem solved.

Freud considered people with a fear of weapons to be suffering from sexual retardation.

I think in your case it's just garden variety retardation.

If you really wanted to arm a militia of 20 people you could just legally buy a crate of Mosin Nagants for about $1800. That will get you started until you can pick up weapons and ammo from your enemies.

MBrady: And if ONE person in that theater was carrying, how many rounds would he have taken before he died?

Given that he was in full body armor and had already teargassed the place, and given that body armor is *Designed* for pistol rounds?

Probably a few. Or, at least, several would have been fired at him, I have to wonder how many wouldhave hit.
