As a Canadian, and fan of Captain Canuck... This is farking stupid. It's an obvious rip off of Cpt America and simply won't be taken seriously in the international box office. All it's going to do is make the idea of a Canadian super hero even more ridiculous than it already is.

I'd rather see an Alpha Flight movie. At least you could tie in a cameo from Wolverine.

Superman was designed by a Canadian, Wolverine is a Canadian, Captain Canuck is a terrible idea, Marvel should make an Alpha Flight movie so Guardian can be on the big screen, Also Sasquatch but only if it is based on the original comics, they have destroyed Alpha Flight recently. Also I love how someone mentioned it was a stupid premise for a superhero, it was literally the same premise they designed Captain America around you moron.

What about Albertan Superhero Zap Rowsdower and his trusty sidekick Troy!?

Who else will battle an army of evil Acadian robots on Cape Breton or a band of zombie fur trappers in Medicine Hat?

Marine1: This far into the thread and no mention of Canada's greatest heroes?

[4.bp.blogspot.com image 850x653]

Seriously, though, I'd like the US and Canada to come to some sort of treaty on which two fictional characters get mentioned online when the countries are brought up. For Canada, it'd probably be Bob and Doug. I'm not sure who it'd be for the US, but as an American, I'd feel cheated if one of the two characters wasn't Jeff Spicoli.

Peggy and Al Bundy

I'd go with Red Green for Canada but I am a huge fan.
