His parents must have been fortune tellers. Who names their kid Philander?

If I'm ever in the Philippines, I'll have to stop in at Rodman's Rainbow Obama Burger.

But the question is this: are any of Rodman's 28 half-siblings as weird as he is?

So out of 29 kids he finally made something successful? Abysmally low achievement.

FTA: The 71-year-old Vietnam War veteran now operates the Rodman's Rainbow Obamaburger restaurant in northern Angeles City.

He said his restaurant menu includes burgers with red, yellow and green colored buns and fries, colors associated with his flamboyant son.

That sounds... strangely delicious, actually. :P

I heard Dennis Rodman wasn't doing well money wise, but are Pippen and Grant broke also?

Scottie never really got the massive payday that most stars of his caliber did.

Somenbody who just plain resents having a kid I reckon. Or an illiterate who enjoyed the way the word sounded.

I went to school with a kid named Philander. We used to say that his mom named him that to always remind her of his dad.

His children averaged a lifetime earnings of several million dollars each. Not too shabby

Madonna was uber hot at one point. I would have too but I was twelve and she was into professional athletes.

I need to get me one of those "Yes, Dennis Rodman is my son" hats. And a Rodman's Rainbow Obamaburger.

If I were to ever think about creating an ALT, it would be Rodman's Rainbow Obamaburger.

Rodman is a much better basketball player than Obamaburger. Therefore Sarah Palin Mooseburger Wolfpack Helicopter DegoWopWopWop is automatically president.

I was wondering about Pippen - why the long face?
Now I know.

I remember reading a story about Rodman and his upbringing in Readers Digest. Good story about succeeding against the odds.
Then the weirdness started. Yet, on the court he was a force, off the court he was and still is a mess.
I found him entertaining and still do. There will always be room in sports for "colorful" characters, providing, of course, they perform in the arena.
May he keep up the shenanigans.

I happened to spot Rodman once at a concert in Detroit while he was still playing for the Pistons. I was kind of buzzed, and my brother talked me into meeting him. As I got closer to him, it seemed like I was walking up to a giant tree. When I got to him I was just above his navel, and his arms looked huge. I instantly realized how enormous the other players must be because I always thought Rodman looked lanky next to other players. I shook his hand and told him I watched, and thought he was a hell of a good ball player. He said "thanks a lot man", and took his giant hand and put it on top of my head, and started to force my face into his huge pants pipe. "Bite that mother farker, Bite that mother farker!" he shouted. My arms were flailing about, ripping off random parts of his salmon colored man blouse. I was helpless in the grasp of the great, and cocoa butter scented beast. His semen tasted of bleach and crown royal, and I was unable to close my lips together for 3 days, due to the beating my poor mouth endured that night. Needless to say, I was VERY upset with my brother, and told him as much when my mouth regained it's natural shape. I also met Larry Bird once at a bru thru in Fairmont Indiana, but that is a story I do NOT wish to tell...

I assume that is a jab, considering what I've read other Farkers say about Reddit. I have looked at that site maybe 3 times. Didn't care for the layout. As for my previous post, It was late. I was tired. Halfway through my anecdote i came to realize how boring of a read it was. I thought a bit of embellishment might help....Perhaps I should post pictures of ponies instead?

It wasn't actually a jab. Many Reddit threads hit their terminus when someone posts a story similar to that, often with much more graphic detail. And they always start innocently.

I see. Must be some sort of formula for tired people with boring anecdotes :)
