*Snerk.* Well, that's the question. They loooooooove being outdoors, and even more love tummy scritchies while rolling around on the grass. But I'm sure that they'd hate a harness, so it'd be funny to watch them try to decide whether they like being outside with their humans more than they hate being on a lead. :)

Oh, and FWIW, Sassy is STILL moaning about the new kibble. I'm mixing in the Iams to try and get him to eat the new stuff, but he eats around the healthy kibble, picking out the Iams bits one by one. *Facepalm.* Sonny and Bluecheez don't care and actually seem to prefer the healthy stuff.

Bathia_Mapes: Never tried Iams, but when she was still with us, our Tilly liked Science Diet for kibble and Whiskas Purrfectly Chicken for gooshy food.

He seems to be completely indifferent to the type of gooshy, as he'll sometimes nibble on whatever Bluecheez didn't finish (we've tried Friskies and one or two other brands on her), but he completely snubbed the Science Diet that I tried on him. Iams isn't that bad compared to a lot of other kibble, but I really want him to eat better, and once we're in our own home I want the boys to eat more gooshy. The last few male cats I've had succumbed to kidney failure, and I want to avoid that. But, since Bluecheez is 16 or 17 and we're trying to get her to skip kibble and eat wet food (which is a pain in the ass because if there's no soft stuff she makes a beeline for kibble), I don't want to get the boys in the habit of routinely eating wet food so they don't steal hers.

there's so much sad in here that i'm using the excuse and bawling just to let out stress. by far not enough sleep and too many occasions making me go rawr and want to pull my hair out. i miss my boys so much. they would have been with me in a heartbeat. but i still need just a little more saved before we can go apartment hunting.

Hey, guys! Since it seems like I have no sleep schedule anymore (looong story), I may be caturday nite krew for a few weeks...I hate this 'up 'til 6 and sleep from 8am to 6pm' nonsense....

"Ni Hao" can also translate into "happy girl" if my memory serves. Not sure if that is an improvment though.

Most common usage ni3hao3 你好 is hello (lit you good=hello) and just has the generic person radical ren 人
4 years of Mandarin ought to be good for something ;)

And, I'm going a little dark in the next series of work. I've been reading a lot of Poe. And, I saw Dark Shadows (I know, it isn't like the series, but it was still pretty damned good. I will skip a week of food to get the DVD when it comes out. Same thing with Season 1 and 2 of Adventure Time; why did no one tell me it was on DVD!! Argh!!). I'm in a very victorian/gothic mode right now; the better to work out my demons, but not being a violent person, the minute I go dark, people think I'm loopy...which I am, but I'm harmless (to everything but spiders). Hey akimbo, sherpa, and laulaja (when she's on!)!

Oh, I'd forgotten that! That's one of the fun and annoying things about Chinese. (Japanese, too, but in a different way.) Tonal languages are strange but interesting!

And Suzy is too cute. A pity that our Annie dog passed away and the two of us live so far away, they'd be awesome buddies!
