Lollipop. I asked the wife if she wanted me to clean out under the bed, and she said no, because she's scared that if I clean it out, I'll find the hundreds of hair ties and socks she stole over the years and it will make her cry. I'm curious to find out what else she stole from us and hid under the box spring. RIP Lollipop, you'll always be missed.

Lollipop is beautiful. Sounds like she had a great sense of humor too.

The original psycho kitty. She loved stealing socks, hair ties, MLP's, and god knows what else. She also loved to come running into the dining room while we were eating and jump up on the table, steal something off of someone's plate, (broccoli, ham, or cheese was her favorite) and taking off before anyone really could do anything about it.

That is so naughty! Good thing it is hard to get/stay mad at a kitty. Sorry for your loss.

Fatty momma "sleeping" with the boy. Takes her into the bedroom every night, and she tolerates it until he falls asleep, then comes out and glares at the wife and I like its our fault.

tooeasy: so i lost my cat thomas, about 4 months ago. He was about 6-7yo, far too young. he was a rescue animal, and when i adopted him he already had a brain tumor, but i didn't care ( i should've, would've saved heartache). anyway. now i've adopted two kittens, a boy and a girl. two questions: how do i upload pictures from camera phones? and, the male cat is 3 mos old and the female is 2 mos, and he really seems to bully her, how worried should i be?

I'm so sorry about Thomas. Good on you for giving a home to a sick Kitty.

What are your new masters names?

Okay...so, um, where do I order a set of those bowls?

Haven't seen you for quite some time.

How's Emma? (I hope I got the name correct)

Emma's doing well, thanks. She's finally starting the habit of sleeping next to me in bed just in the last week or so. She usually hangs out on the corner. I'm not really sure what's changed. I'll try to post a picture of her if I can get the picture thing to work right.

Does anyone have any advice or experience with Manx, bobtailed or generally tail-atypical kittens? Our latest batch of fosterlings includes two black ones, one with a stubby tail and one with no tail at all. We've named the stubby one Neville Shortbottom, his orange brother is Seamus Finnegan and the new no-tail (we got the kittens sequentially as they were rescued,) will probably have a similarly Harry Potter-themed name. (Names out of childrens' books + shelter cat pictures hung in the library = more adoptions.)

Oh, and do feel free to caption these little ones.

And last but not least, Oreo. She was our second cat, but she's been gone for about 5 years now. Definitely not the nicest cat, but she was all about my daughter and was at least gentle with her.

Thanks, he sure is. I can't believe I got him since there were other people looking to adopt cats when I was there. I guess it is wise to look in all the cages, Including the ones way at the bottom and in the corner...then wake the cat up and check him out. Also, to be decisive and not let anyone else swoop in!

I took Gremie to the vet the other day for his shots. My vet's office has about 6 vets on staff and there is one I call "little miss susie sunshine" she might be a good vet but she's lousy with my animals. As soon as the animal gets scared and tenses up the Vet's voice goes up and she starts sing song speech. The dog senses her fear and gets even worse and starts growling and snapping. So when I bring the dog in I always make sure "susie sunshine" not on duty but I didn't check when I brought Gremie in.
Gremie and I were sitting in the exam room with my back to the door the aides had been in and out of the room with no reaction from Gremie. Suddenly the door opened and Gremie growled (a sound I've never heard before) I turned around and there was "susie sunshine" . At hearing the growl she started the high pitched sing song and that was it for Gremie the fight was on. My arms are now scratched up and I ended up with a hole in my tshirt from the back claws. Gremie has always been calm and even at the vet and shots have never been a problem before. I just wonder if Gremie and Jack talked about her. So now when I call the vet I'll have to make sure "susie sunshine" is not on duty for Gremie's shots. She probably thinks I'm raising the most vicious cat and dog around.

First, for Jesus Farking Christ who's been Away for a while & queried on pg 4
Okay...so, um, where do I order a set of those bowls?
Sorry. Doubt they're still commercially available, except by luck. Bought my slightly mismatched set (3 smaller deeper, 1 bigger shallow & the one captioned into) at TJMaxx a few yrs back. If you're youngish, I could will them to you when
I/we finally go to the Bridge to rendezvous with all the cats we've loved & cared for over the yrs.

Still from the huge .gif I tried to post before lunch & it wouldn't. Entire thing's 800-oddK which of course is fartoo big.
Credit to ThreadBombing, whoever that is; no date preserved. Now do date saves.
Eriond, Fang Q for the clowder pix. They all good lookin',.
Also ElBrujo for Leonard, who I seem to recall having seen depictured before, mayhap around adoption time.
SpiderQueenDemon, Potter-esque monikers for adoptees are at least somewhat inspired. They cute too.
& for Diocletian's Last Cabbage, I've also heard directly from our fave Alien. Was left with impression from her
that she'd retain e-mail but not telephone or Internet. I may not have heard quite same things valnt9 did ....

SBD

Used to have a lot of problems with this issue until I found out that it was the ingredients in our cat's food that was causing all the gas. I learned that the first ingredient should alway be poultry/fish/meat, preferable followed by brewers rice. Many cheaper brands have some form of corn as the first ingredients on the list, with the poultry/fish/meat third or fourth down on the list. What with cats being obligate carnivores, feeding them this type of cat food is just asking for trouble.

One of these days I'll caption this with the appropriate text (something along the lines of "It's 'May I have a cheeseburger' you twits!"), but for now, this is a pretty good picture of Bitter:

Bitter has been with me 11 years. Unfortunately he may not be with me much longer (Lymphoma). He's still feisty on his good days. And he most definitely earned his name.

Happy to see Socks now resident at Bro Vinny's. Spouse Plumbicon howled at "Inertwebs".
Also Bitter, for however much longer he deigns to remain. Or his lymphoma deigns for him to remain. That'll be a great caption, N-deutetrei.

There's also a bit submitted to BURPS (BarbershoppersUrgingRepeatedPuns as aSidegroup) that I'm unable to make work, mayhap because of my unfamiliarity with Gurgle (aka Google) maps. It's meant for those who still must trek to Mordor on Moandays. 'Ere goes:
For you "Lord Of The Rings" fans,
Go to this website: Link
