What an unbelievable looney tune.

2012-07-19 09:26:30 AM
Considering she's is almost certainly a deep-deep-Narnia-inhabititing-closet-dwelling lesbian, it's the only things she's blowing.

What, you expected me to comment on her paranoid stupidity? What is there to say? She's obviously an idiot, and wrong... that's that.

2012-07-19 09:28:53 AM
She apparently never got the memo about not going full retard.

2012-07-19 09:31:17 AM
It's not a dog whistle if everybody hears it. This is an air horn.

2012-07-19 09:40:04 AM
I think her and Allen West should get together and have evil babies.

2012-07-19 09:43:01 AM
When is this woman gonna trip while running with a butcher knife?

2012-07-19 09:46:47 AM
This woman was at one point the GOP front runner.

2012-07-19 09:48:15 AM
And this woman sits on the committee which oversees your intelligence agencies.

2012-07-19 09:49:39 AM
"In a letter I stated that the State Department harbors a nest of Muslim and Muslim sympathizers who are helping to shape our foreign policy. I further stated that I have in my possession the names of 57 Muslims who are in the State Department at present."

Aarontology: This woman was at one point the GOP front runner.

And when she was, I understood why she would demagogue against Muslims: to rile up the bigots in the GOP to support her candidacy.

Now I have no idea why she's doing this, except she genuinely believes there is a threat.

She knows her constituents and she knows what works. This sort of thing goes over well with the ignorant hicks that support her.

If she doesn't go full retard, she's got nowhere to go.

She's a true believer. This kind of statement isn't really out of the norm for her. Remember when she said that she wants to bring back HUAC to find out which politicians are "anti-American?"

2012-07-19 10:05:21 AM
So at what actual point is she taken in for a real psychiatric evaluation? Because this is clearly delusional paranoia.

2012-07-19 10:11:52 AM
It's a pretty fat dog whistle at this point

2012-07-19 10:15:55 AM
A cancerous tumor on our nation.

Or when she drafted legislation to protect America against a non-existent North American currency, the Amero? She's plainly insane, yet MN keeps voting for her.

I've taken to the Twitters to ask Michele Bachmann to investigate Grover Norquist as a "potential Muslim infiltrator."

Should make for a fun afternoon, I guess.

It's really, really scary that this nutcase actually managed to win a straw poll in Iowa.

Or when she said that someone told vaccines turned their kids retarded, so vaccines shouldn't be administered.

I had to dig a bit to find who the other Reps. were that signed it. And surprisingly, West was not one of them (nor Peter or Steve King). He's covering the Commie angle, which was her prior crazy-ass pet project.

These are signs of desperation. The Romney campaign is ramping up the "Obama Other/UnAmerican" crap, Bachmann's got the Muslim scare angle covered, and West has got Tucker Carlson's assist on Commie infiltration.

When you've got nothing else, scare the people into submitting to your authority.

What I find particularly hilarious about Bachmann's efforts is that they're designed no only to scare but to undermine the Obama Admin's national security credentials, which are largely unassailable.

Crazy eyes is nowhere near up to the task.

So how come they're not mentioning the other four batshiat crazy baggers that signed her letter?

/they deserve some ridicule, too, I think

I noticed that, too, as I indicated above. I think it's shameful, pathetic journalism. We have a right to know.

So....

Bachmann is joined in her request by Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Trent Franks (R-AZ), Rep. Thomas Rooney (R-FL) and Rep. Lynn Westmoreland (R-GA).

/even cnn mention them for fark's sake

I want Louie Gohmert to be punched repeatedly right in the gohmerts.

Maybe if they brought back Hee Haw and put him on the cast. Not in Congress.

Well sure. But he's there and he is entertaining. Work with me, I'm trying to find the upside in hell.

Exactly. A dog whistle means that she's making an implication using code words. She's not - she's just saying exactly what she believes.

Republicans, must make you proud that this woman was a legitimate Presidential contender just a few months ago.

Aarontology: This woman was at one point the GOP front runner.

That's the best/worst part. I wouldn't trust her to run a lemonade stand, and she was a top 5 finisher in a race to run the country.

2012-07-19 12:53:10 PM
I'll say it again: Georgia beheld Cynthia McKinney, and ashamed at what it had wrought it did the decent thing and dismissed her.

What the fark is your problem, Minnesota?

"Marty! Meet me at the Twin Pines mall at precisely 1:18am! And bring your video camera!"

/seriously, is this 1955?

Guess she didn't get over it.

2012-07-19 12:53:31 PM
But remember: people like Scott Roeder, Anders Breivik, and Timothy McVeigh are complete aberrations from the norm of good, God-fearing, Christian folk who just want to live their lives undisturbed by others.

It's been a bangup week for republican harpies in Congress. There's 2 days left, so they could still crank it past 11.

What I find particularly hilarious about Bachmann's efforts is that they're designed no only to scare but to undermine the Obama Admin's national security credentials

Or to take the media spotlight away from Romney's issues.

Damn Teabaggers.

2012-07-19 12:56:25 PM
This could spin out of control very quickly. The remaining quasi-sane elements in the GOP need to nip this in the bud immediately. FSM help us, we're relying on Mitch McConnell and John Boehner to do the right thing.
