abb3w: Fart_Machine: I'll always remember him as Easy Reader from The Electric Company.

At present rates it seems we only have a couple more years before the GOP come out against literacy, so he's a good fit there, too.

See Santorum's comments about how not everyone needs to go to college. Most people can learn what they need from the bible.

God gives $1 million dollars to Obama's Super PAC

Can Obama get it from an automatic ATM machine?

EvilBillGates: So the black man so full of himself he plays God on-screen, donates to the black man so full of himself he plays God to the American people. Good job libs, way to stay in touch with the American people.

Highroller48: make me some tea: I could see why some of the voters took him for snobby. He had a quiet way about him. A walk and a talk that just wasn't normal around here. He strolled like a man in a park without a care or a worry in the world, like he had on an invisible coat that would shield him from derp. Yeah, I think it would be fair to say I liked Barack from the start.

This.

Since when did being serene and measured in your ways, exceptionally well-spoken, highly educated and proffessorial in your addresses about major issues become a BAD thing in a leader? Oh, wait...I forgot we're talking about REPUBLICANS. An educated and sophisitcated electorate is detrimental to an agenda that relies on the support of low-information voters. Anyone who dares excercise intelligence or pretend to konw more about a subject that the average voter is just being "eletist". Never mind. Carry on.

What's funny is that is a Morgan Freeman line from Shawshank Redemption. It fits though, doesn't it?

Headline: God gives $1 million dollars to Obama's Super PAC

I'll be impressed when he delivers the mail to Quirm while clad in a solid-gold suit and wing-ed hat, riding a half-mad horse.

/Obscure?
/Or was it Sto Lat? It's been too long since I read that book.

Fun Fact: Stephen King is a closet liberal who wrote Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption so that people would identify Barack Obama with Andy Dufresne.

coeyagi: FuturePastNow: coeyagi: Ned Stark: Against superpacs until WE get a million.

Give it up. Everyone is against them, and everyone will use them until they go away.

People with millions of dollars to donate aren't against them.

Adelson quoted that he'd rather not do it, but if he can, he will.

And in the end, some millionaires are going to be out a shiat ton of money.

The only people in the end not getting burned are the ad agencies.

So, if the lottery is the stupid tax, PACs are the rich stupid tax? I certainly hope everyone who has donated to Romney feels like a moron after he loses.

Pretty much. Except you're going to win half the time, lose half the time (approx), so it's more like poker I guess, just have to bet big when the odds are in your favor. Over the long haul (4 or 5 presidential elections), you'll maybe break even.
