Short answer: They go there to hook up. Willard is listed as married (I actually thought he was gay) but it's not uncommon in the gay community to meet up there.

Right now its all alleged, but other than being dropped from PBS and no longer being able to work around kids shows, I'm sure we'll continue to see him in Christopher Guest movies and R-rated comedies. We're beyond the Pee-Wee era of pretending porn doesn't exist.
