IAmRight: Arkanaut: I haven't been following the Fins that closely, but why does Matt Moore get the automatic nod over David Garrard?

Because he's a better QB, mostly.

This time, you are not right.

Ruffian: This time, you are not right.

He had a good year in '07, other than that he's older, hasn't done anything of significance, and is coming off a back injury. There's no reason to have him.

/Pro Bowl in '09 after a 15-TD season? WTF?

RickyWilliams'sBong: They were better than their record indicated last year. Once Moore had a couple games under his belt and learned the offense, they were pretty solid.

Their real problems in the first half of the season were (1) Henne being Henne and (2) atrocious strength and conditioning for the defense that New England exposed in Week 1.

Henne played in four games: week 1 he did well (granted, against a crappy NE defense), week 2 he did poorly (against a spectacular Houston team), week 3 he did well (against the Browns), and in week 4 he threw all of four passes before getting injured for the season. Henne is a mediocre QB, but the Dolphins sucked with Henne playing above where he had been in past seasons.

Frankly, I think it's because people would rather see once and for all what Moore can do given the team for a full season.
